We had lunch with friends. Classic diner food was excellent. Service was excellent. I would recommend for breakfast and lunch
Went there for breakfast and the food wasn't great and the price was insane Almost 50 dollars Really? For breakfast? With eggs. It must have been the golden egg or something. We've been there before and it was never that much Wont go there again
Love this place been coming here for years!!!

We were traveling and were looking for a place to eat dinner. The place was in excellent condition, the portions were large and the food was very good.
I wouldn't eat here again; the service is terrible waitstaff and the girl where you pay are rude. The food is either terrible or subpar at best. The menus are sticky and dirty. The place inside needs a deep cleaning and a renovation.
It was our first time in Hyde Park, New York, and we had heard a lot about this place. Stepping into this diner was like stepping back into the 50s.. Eveready screams big: a big menu, big booths, and big, delicious portions at reasonable prices. We went for dinner and I had the turkey club. The turkey was fresh, and the sandwich came with a mountain of tasty fries. My wife had a double smash burger. She said it was one of the best-tasting burgers she had had in a long time. Neither one of us could finish our meal. But we didn't worry, we took home doggy bags. For a diner, they had an eye-popping list of desserts. Topping off the experience was the great service we received. We are coming back to Hyde Park next spring, and Eveready will be one of our first stops.
This turned out to be a highlight of our trip. We initially stopped for lunch with our two granddaughters and liked it so much we went back for dinner. The menu is huge and perfect for families with young children. Across our two visits, we tried the waffles with strawberries, mac and cheese, turkey sandwich, pot roast, an Oreo sundae, a strawberry sundae, and more. Everything was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient. Parking was easy, and it is very conveniently located near the FDR Home/museum and the Vanderbilt House. I later learned it had been featured almost two decades ago in one of the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives shows. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.
Stopped here many times, food was always good. Stopped there on 6/20 and ordered a burger which Comes with fries, onion rings and pickle. Wanted potato salad instead of fries. So I got just a burger and salad. And it took a long time to be served. Not as good as it used to be.
My family enjoys finding and eating at diners while on vacation. Eveready Diner was charming and full of everything a diner should have - decor, floats, flavored soda, and desserts. Service was friendly and fast. Food was delicious.

We were in Hyde Park for the weekend and looking for a good breakfast spot. This diner was right down the road from our hotel so we thought we would give it a try. It was a great decision! We both started with coffee and then I had the western omelette with delicious home fries and perfectly toasted rye bread. My husband had two eggs over easy with bacon and also ordered the everything bagel with cream cheese. The serving of bacon with his eggs was very large so he could share with me! The atmosphere was great, our waitress did a good job and kept our coffee refilled. Our food was delicious with generous servings. We would definitely go back here again.
Had dinner here. Enjoyed the atmosphere- it is a novelty. There is a huge menu with a lot of variety. The food was good but I would say it was just average quality.
Amazing authentic American diner. Good food, good people. The helpings were huge and all freshly made and good value for money. Loved my breakfast here. Time from ordering about ten minutes for food to be brought out but coffee poured on arrival and iced water offered. If you’re travelling through this way make an effort to stop it’s well worth it !!!!
Not only was this a very reasonably priced Diner, it was excellent food and service! The place was packed and we got a table within 2 mins! The items we ordered were piping hot and delicious. Our server Joanne l. was very good! we will be back.
Do not go here. We had breakfast there several times. The food was cold and very expensive. A small glass of orange juice was $6. The place is dirty and doesn't look like it is ever cleaned. There were ants around our table as well. Went there for Thanksgiving dinner as well which was expensive and the food did not taste good. The dinner was like a turkey pot pie with shredded turkey in some tasteless gravy. I have given it many tries because I am a local and wanted to like the place. Save yourself and go somewhere else.
