It was our first time in Hyde Park, New York, and we had heard a lot about this place. Stepping into this diner was like stepping back into the 50s.. This turned out to be a highlight of our trip. We initially stopped for lunch with our two granddaughters and liked it so much we went back for dinner. The menu is huge and perfect for families with young children. Across our two visits, we tried the waffles with strawberries, mac and cheese, turkey sandwich, pot roast, an Oreo sundae, a strawberry sundae, and more. Stopped here many times, food was always good. Stopped there on 6/20 and ordered a burger which\nComes with fries, onion rings and pickle. Wanted potato salad instead of fries. So I got just a burger and salad. And it took a long time to be served. Not as good as it used to be.
