Pretty decent food, to be completely honest. There are certainly better Chinese restaurants in the area, but this place is definitely nothing to sneeze at. If you're looking for classic American Chinese food in Hyde Park, I'd recommend Great Wall.

Most people would be better off tossing their money out of the window and just skipping whichever meal they had planned on enjoying. For those of you looking for the texture of fried chicken that has been left in the refrigerator too long before being reheated, you're in luck. Tough and chewy chicken seems to be their specialty.

I called in an order, and the woman I spoke to was coughing her lungs out. I continued anyway, and when I picked up what I calculated to be a $24 order, the bill was over $36. Bad enough, but the quality is now fair at best. The prices posted online a year ago are tremendously higher. Some items like egg rolls and crispy duck have increased over 40%!! Never again for me.
Best Scallion pancakes around. Truly enjoy this place. A must try if you are in Hyde Park

The worst Chinese food I've ever eaten in my life the beef and broccoli comes with more broccoli and no beef the rice is horrible if it's pork fried rice there's no pork in it it was the worst $39 I've ever spent on Chinese food if I could give no stars it would have no stars and I'm going to help it so they don't erase it

I was in the mood for Chinese food and this place was ideal to satisfy my craving.The only unfortunate aspect was a very unruly disrespectful customer who had no right to treat the guys who work there the way he did.I could tell the guys are working really hard in the back preparing all the luncheon meals that were being called in to be picked up.It was the unruly customer who ruined my experience.

We do not recommend this place. We called in an order of roast pork and green beans and an order of egg rolls. The young man who took the order hung up before letting us know how long it would take and how much it would be. My husband drove in to pick up the order only to find out that we were not given the roast pork--only the green beans. We also only received one egg roll which was terrible ( doughy without flavor). No chopsticks or even plastic forks were included. This establishment is rude and incompetent.
