Hyde Park Pizza & Gyros

The prices they charge don’t match the menu. They just charge random high prices (was told it was the tax but the tax was -also added below). Expensive and the place seems like a dive with leaking ceilings. Super annoying.

His gyro was better than most gyro places I have eaten at cuts it from the gyro machine and is not from precut slices, very good. Also he puts alot of gyro meat in , better than most places I have eaten at. His pizza reminds me of NY pizza in the Bronx- traditional. He also has spinach pie swirls .
I’m very satisfied and would recommend this place.

The gyros here are consistently delicious. The owner & staff are friendly. Sit outside, enjoy your meal & watch people & traffic go by.

The food was flavorful and cooked to absolute perfection, and the portions are *chefs kiss*. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, I would recommend this place to anyone picky because the pene à la vodka is to freakin die for. I wish I snapped a photo of the presentation as well I'd even give that 5 stars!

We had an excellent meal and great service at this restaurant earlier this week. The pizza was cooked just right with lots of flavor. I tried the pastichio dish which I've never had before and it was delicious. We also ordered Baked Ziti and the chef cooked a large helping of fresh pasta for us. We had more than we could eat! Even the salad that we started with was fresh and crisp along with the pita bread slices. Very good all around!

High quality Italian and Greek food. Chef George has been serving Dutchess County for over 30 years. They can custom make anything for you and are emphatic about pleasing. Delicious sauce on the pizza and the cooked dishes. Ample space for your family events. Gyros are EXCELLENT!! Must go!

Place and food are perfect. Whom ever wrote the 2 star review should take it down. It's totally unfair not right and childish.

There's pizza, and then there is Very Good Pizza that George makes! Perfect amount of sauce, fresh toppings and oh how the crust folds over for you to get a bite. The kind of pizza where you want to go back the next day to try another pie. Perfect spot after doing a little site seeing while we we're traveling. George knows how to make them right! Hopefully you get a chance to talk with him, he truly has a passion for his work and knows the area. Friendly atmosphere, reasonable prices and great place to take the family. We're already planning another trip to the area and I know his restaurant will be one of our stops on that trip.
