My mom and I wanted a fine dining fancy experience. She ordered the chef special of lamb wellington and I ordered the cider pork. We learned that the chef had been there since 1989! Food was great. The only complaint was the close quarters of seating when many tables were open.
Three of us dined here last evening. The food was good. Lamb loin en croute, fish with gnocchi, and mahi-mahi. The only fault is that the mahi-mahi was dry. A great apple/raisin strudel for desert.
So much of the food was an unfocused raft of ingredients whose quality somewhat redeemed the combination. Our server was warm but seemed frazzled. The setting on the porch looking torward the lake was very nice.
