“My mom and I wanted a fine dining fancy experience. She ordered the chef special of lamb wellington and I ordered the cider pork. We learned that the chef had been there since 1989! Food was great. The only complaint was the close quarters of seating when many tables were open.”

“My wife and I were on vacation. Stopped by this place and the gentleman that helped us was nice and even gave us ideas on nearby attractions. We ordered a BLT and a cheeseburger. Both were delicious. I recommend this place. Got a nice homie hole in the wall food place vibe.”

“the food at the screaming eagle is out of this world. every time I visit Inlet I go there. I get a mountain pizza and wings. they have a lot of draft beers but I love the Saranac sodas. root beer. to find out what is in a mountain pizza you need to go there and try it!! I recommend for everyone including families”

“We had reservations for six of us 5:30 on Sunday. The place was empty in the dining area. We unfortunately could not be seated in the enclosed deck area overlooking the lake because only parties of two or four were seated out there. What a shame as the views were stunning. I chose to order two appetizers for my dinner since I was not very hungry. I ordered the Original Tapas tray and the Stuffed Portobello Mushroom. My Honey ordered the Beet Salad. My Tapas consisted of three of Crab Rangoon, Fried Pork Dumplings and several Grilled Marinated Bourbon Steak and all were all very good. The Stuffed Portobello Mushroom was even better. Very tasty indeed. My Honey did not enjoy her Beet Salad as much, as her experience this time did not meet her expectations/memories of when she had before. Also there was not enough beets for her. The rest of our party seemed to enjoy the Grilled Prime Rib, the Salmon and Veal very much. Our server Alexis was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The gentleman that seated us didn't seem very friendly nor enthusiastic but that did not deter us. The place started receiving more diners as the evening went on. The adjacent room had a large private party celebrating a special occasion. The dinner was very Delicious and if we were able to be seated on the enclosed deck I would have given then a five rating. We were very happy with our choices and we recommend.”

“Tucked inside the lower level of the Woods Inn, the Laughing Loon is a warm, cozy place for food and drink. There are six taps and I enjoyed one of their IPAs. The soup de jour was a grilled corn chowder with tender chunks of chicken which was excellent. The pulled pork sandwich was nicely spicy and served on a crisp artisan roll. All in all, a comfortable dining experience.”

“Finally stopped at the Little Fox. I always wanted to stop, but the days activities never allowed the visit. Today afforded the opportunity. I felt bad now after the visit, that we didn't stop the last few years. Great place in Big Moose to have a drink and eat delicious food! As well, which cannot be ignored, the hospitality! Jonny and Beth were very pleasant and picked your vibe right away. Very knowledgeable about the area and passionate about the food they serve. I had the bowl of New England clam chowder, which was most likely the best I ever had. Ask about the pickled eggs and wash it down with an Uncle Charlie. Their menu is by far the best in the OF-EB-BM area. Ask what's cooking, and they will tell you. Definitely don't make the mistake I did by not stopping sooner.Parking: Park your sleds here to dine.”

“Basic snowmobiling bar, food was good, all domestic beers available not sure of imports(I had a corona) lunch is basically burgers, but that's all we were after anyways. 6 out of ten. If it was the only place for miles...10 out of 10.”

“Mountainside catered our wedding and they did a wonderful job! Brian was easy to work with, he made sure everything was made on time and that we had enough food for everyone. He communicated with me by phone and e-mail leading up to the big day. Everyone loved the food and we highly recommend Mountainside!”

The food was served promptly and was very good. I’m a chef by trade and usually a busy short staffed restaurant is a trigger for me. It was nice to see that this place was handling everything so smoothly”
