I wish they were open during winter! There's something about how they make their ice cream that is quite special. One must be the quality of dairy and ingredients they use. They don't put in excessive sugar; you can taste the underlying flavors of the ingredients. They had a massive flavor menu. It rotates, seasonally. What am I partial to? Ginger, Lavender, Strawberry, Jalepeno Popper, Cinnamon, Gianduia, Butter Pecan, Pistachio, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Apple Spice, Rum Raisin, Tiramisu, Eggnog. You can ask them to pack pints for you to take home. But there's a possibility you might just eat it all in one go. Their parking lot was still gravel the last time I was there. There is some seating both inside and outside.

Typical ice cream shop from the inside-out as far as appearances are concerned, but the quality of the ice cream and service were great. The mocha chocolate chunk may have been a little chilly for my husband's liking, but I loved the Cayuga salted caramel just fine. The size of a single scoop? Pretty fair for the price too. If I'm ever out here again, if I should ever pass up a scoop for any reason, I'll have you know this place absolutely tempted the heck out of me to say the least.

Outstanding ice cream with my vanilla bean waffle cone and my wife's coconut almond swirl waffle cone. A very worthy stop if you're in the area.

Great place to stop on vacation. The best ice cream place in town! Friendly service to boot.

Was back this summer. Only half the flavors of last year were available. They didn’t have the pistachio or butter pecan.Prices high. Quality ice cream but not worth the drive anymore

Beware that if you come in a "van" they will not serve you - even if there are only 6 of in your groupBeyond disappointed to have waited inline for 15 minutes for us to go up to the window for them to ask "did you come in the van" and then telling us we will not serve you, it's a new policy we're trying. They turned us away and then proceeded to serve the group of 5 behind us that came in a van & just didn't park in their driveway

Cayuga Lake Creamery was a great ice cream stop. They have a large selection of homemade ice cream and they have hard, soft, custard and sundaes to choose from. They also have some savory food options if you're interested in that. The ice cream was great, my wife enjoyed the cake batter and her waffle cone and I got the Reese's pieces sundae which was incredible! I got the small and it was way more than enough. Only go large if you haven't had food in 24 hours. The place was busy but we really had no wait at all. The team was working fast back there. Prices are average for ice cream nowadays and I thought portions were appropriate. They have an inside and outside eating area attached to the creamery and there is more outside down the hill where there is extra parking as well. It's nothing special inside but for an overly hot day nice to have. The outside down the hill provides shade so that is nice as well.Either way a great stop for ice cream if you are in the area. Enjoy!

I’ve been coming here for over a decade at this point and I love the ice cream. Always brings back memories when I’m in the area and they have a great selection to choose from. They have seating indoors which is open occasionally and a few tables outside. Would recommend if you’re driving by because it’s a great treat!

First time visit today! Service was pretty slow but it was a bit busy.We had a bit of sticker shock initially with the price, a single scoop is over $6.We ended up ordering 3 scoops because the price made more sense that way, and they let us get 3 different flavours. They put the 3 scoops in a cup that could hardly hold 2, and it made it difficult to eat as it was already quite melted when they handed it to us.We sat in the outdoor seating and the tables look like they haven't been cleaned in ages, covered in mud, food, and debris. The ice cream was delicious, but the overall experience wasn't great

We went to a handful of creameries near Cayuga and Seneca Lakes this trip and this was by far our favorite ice cream.
