My husband and I came here with our 3mo. old and had such a lovely and pleasant experience. We only had time for ONE winery on Cayuga and we chose Lucas because of its history. We went for a wine tasting and loved the care and attention we were given. We traveled from Michigan (9 hour drive), and didn't know what to expect. The owner and his daughter helped serve us. They had fun banter which made us laugh. The view was so wonderful after we boat some Tug Boat Red we sat outside and enjoyed the nice day. Highly recommend!
We did the Bacon on the Laken Tour. The tour offered 10 wineries over two days centered around Cayuga Lake. Each vineyard created an original bacon recipe paired with Vineyard wine along with 3 more wine tastings of your choice. We ended our first day at Lucas Vineyards. The pairing was Piggy Candy & Tug Boat Red.Simply delicious ? We would highly recommend the tour but sells out fast.
