I went in planning to buy a pepperoni slice, but then noticed they had a lunch special for 2 regular slices and a soda for $5.99. I asked if I could get the lunch special and simply pay a little extra for pepperoni. Instead, I was told I would have to “take the pepperoni off” to qualify for the special. Honestly, I’ve never heard someone say that before, and the way it was said came across sarcastic and dismissive rather than helpful.
I said no problem and kept the pepperoni slice, but then ended up being charged $5.11 for the single slice anyway, which made the whole interaction feel even more confusing and inconsistent.
I completely understand businesses having rules and lunch special policies, but there’s a better way to handle simple requests like this. I was willing to pay the difference — I just expected a little more courtesy and flexibility.
The pizza itself was good, but the customer service experience left a bad impression. I felt scammed!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Family Pizzeria in Iwood. The customer service was genuinely awful—unfriendly, inattentive, and completely uninterested in addressing basic concerns. It felt like an inconvenience just to place an order. Unfortunately, the food did nothing to redeem the experience. The pizza was bland, poorly seasoned, and tasted like it had been rushed with little care or quality control. For a place that calls itself a pizzeria, the lack of flavor and attention to detail was surprising and frustrating. Between the subpar service and the forgettable food, this is not a place I would recommend or return to.

I feel like the workers are taking advantage of their customers they want 22 dollars for a medium pie with pepperoni. on their menu it says a large pie with pepperoni is 21.50 so how a medium pie with pepperoni is 22 dollars. These workers are just making up their prices.

From North Jersey, working in the area that day and wanted pizza for dinner. Had 2 slices and a can of soda. Slices were hot & crisp, buffalo chicken slice had a lot of chicken, spinach slice had good amount spinach. Unlike the 3 other pizzerias I walked out of, they have a restroom for customer use. Taste & prices were good.

Ordered last week because I really wanted an antipasto salad. I asked for no carrots but it was loaded with them, a long with a bunch of other things that don't belong in an antipasto. There was a wedge of lettuce was just thrown in there. The pizza was mediocre, not great but nothing to complain about. If not for the antipasto, I wouldn't have tried this spot. It really was such a disappointing representation of an antipasto. I was missing my family really bad and wanted to feel like I was home. Unfortunately it just made me sadder.
