Chutney Masala is an absolute gem. We often order take out but have really wanted to try in person. IT WAS BEYOND worth braving the cold. Everything was hot and delicious! The waiter helped us try new things and all food was absolutely wonderful. They made the night truly special.

This was not our first visit. Service has always been above expectations. For some reason last night we seemed to be constantly forgotten about. It took a long time just to get a beer, refills on water just most everything. Also the place was kept a very warm temperature. Too warm. The food was delicious and plentiful.

Food was ok. The Indian restaurant in my Queens neighborhood has better food. They need to replace their silverware. My glass and plate were not the cleanest. Service was ok but everything took a long time. Overall, not impressed.

We went because we heard that the food was so good. Based on the food, we are giving a five star rating. Everything was delicious. Lots of taste and texture variations. Extensive menu. Our orders were served in a timely manner and everything must have been delivered immediately after coming off the stove/out of the oven because it was nice and hot. I thinks it's some of the best I've eaten. Unfortunately the servers had not taken away the plates from our starters and had to put our entrees on an adjacent table while they cleared the used plates. We had a tough time getting attention when we needed extra serving pieces and water refills. Some of the tables had bins full of dirty dishes and glasses, which was not pleasant to have to see. It took 20 minutes to get the check and although we were not under any time constraints, a number of the workers had put on their coats and left for the night. Am I expecting too much? Michelin awarded a bib gourmand. It's surely deserved for the food. The rest of the staff needs additional training.

Loved this restaurant when it was by the river in the brick building. Hadn't been for years and booked it for my partner‘s birthday. The service was very disappointing. I suspect that there was a staff shortage or some kind of problem because when we walked in, no one greeted us. Our waiter seemed very distracted and unavailable when I went to Pay he was texting and he saw me waiting and I said I just would like to pay and he said he was texting “his boss“ anyway the food was good and there were some good lunch specials, but hopefully we caught it on a very bad day for the staff.

I ate here a couple nights ago for Diwali, and wanted to leave a review because my experience was lovely. To start off, the hostess greeted us and immediately sat us. She also ended up taking our order since the other waiters were busy. We bothered her with many questions about the different dishes which she happily answered! The food then came quickly and it was DELICIOUS. The service was great, they gave us complimentary dessert for Diwali, and they thanked us profusely when leaving. I liked the atmosphere and overall, highly recommend the restaurant!
Restaurant has great food—a very varied and creative menu — some nice twists on traditional Indian restaurant dishes too. They catered my daughter’s wedding and everyone raved about the food. Plus their service is excellent. Navjot Arora— owner and chef is a pleasure to work with. I trusted him completely.

Amazing, friendly and unforgettable experience!! Every time I come here for lunch the experience and hospitality is beyond words!!! Such an amazing staff and the food is so fresh and tasty!! Chef Navjot is so talented and you can tell he makes the food with love. I would recommend anyone in the tri-state area to come and try his amazing food. Indian food is different and unique from any cuisine. It has so many flavors and spices that you won't find in any food. The Mango Lassi is a must have for any customer as well. My favorite dish here is the the chicken tikka masala and the tandoori chicken.
