The food was yummy. I would definitely go back again for that curry chicken.

We have been to Chutney Masala several times and really enjoyed each visit. It really is a local gem. The food is always beautifully prepared, flavorful, fresh, and delicious. The service is great, too. They genuinely want you to have a great meal. The menu has a wide variety of snack items (like pani puri), vegetarian as well as carnivore friendly items. It's a great place to come for a date night. I can't wait to try everything on their menu. Highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised by the poor quality of food at this restaurant. The food was pretty tasteless and very creamy (for unclear reasons) .Of note people were friendly and restaurant is clean .

The restaurant is on the smaller side so reservations are a must. The ambience is great and the service was attentive. Really enjoyed the food. Had lamb biryani, chicken saag, and chicken tikka masala. The spinach could have had a bit more season (which is why I gave a 4/5) but outside of that it was great and we will go again.

Just not good a lot of things tasted like they were just microwaved before coming to the table. We ordered the chicken lollipops since they seem to be a big hit in other reviews… they were completely over cooked and dry. We asked for another chutney to dip them in and they gave us ketchup. Won’t be going back.

Great spot for Indian food that is again in the Michelin Bib Gourmand list for Westchester among the select few. Totally worth your time! Try it even if you think that you don't like Indian food, as this might change your mind.

Nice place. Good food. Service was good. Nice place outside of the city. 40 minutes from Grand Central. 7 minute walk from Irvington MetroNorth station. Good prices. Full bar.

We were a group of 6. Nice table. We had a mix of cocktails and wine. The food came in a timely manner, well presented. Food is flavorful not just spicy. Great Indian dining experience.

We went on a recommendation and really liked it. We are vegetarian and there were many choices, not only in the veggie curry section (of which there are ~20 choices)…so read the menu if you’re vegetarian. I feel confident that the meat, etc is likely also excellent. We started with Hara Bhara Kebab and then we had Saufina Paneer Tikka, Punjabi Kadhi and Tofu Matar. (Wewanted to try some different things. See the menu for descriptions)The appetizer was tasty. Not a ton of cheese but a new (to us) variation on an Indian fried patty. The mains were very good. The Hara Bhara Kebab was my favorite. And we both loved the Dal Makhani that came with it. The Punjabi Kadhi was my partner’s favorite. Lots of sauce as opposed to the drier, but delicious tandoori spiced cheese with grilled peppers and onions. The Tofu Matar was good, but less flavorful. We will be back!

As usual, the food is outstanding. Samosa were perfectly crispy. Spice level for Saag Paneer and Curry Shrimp were just right. However, their new venue is small and has an awkward layout. We were seated in the bathroom hallway since the rest of the tables were full when we arrived despite having reservations. There was no protection from the weather, so each time either the front or rear door opened we were hit with a blast of freezing air. They need a serious remodel. If you're lucky enough to live in their delivery area, I'd recommend that.

Went on a recommendation and thought the menu and the food were very good. We forgot to tell them how hot we like it (one likes it mild and the other of us prefers medium) and it was all mild without mentioning anything. Say something if you expect it to be spicy. Recommended. We will go again.

This place would be at least 4 stars for food...but every time we order takeout they send an email that says 30 min for pickup...when we arrive we wait an additional 30 min. 1 hour would be fine if they just said that upfront. Service is lacking, but food is good.
