The meat is excellent! Succulent brisket, not at all dry! Every bite was tasty. Bonus that it’s grassfed. The proprietor was friendly. We had the carolina bbq sauce which was tasty with a hint of sour- perfect for me because I have sensitivity to chilies. We didn’t try the spicier sauces and there were many to choose from. We will come back for sure! Thanks so much for a perfect lunch!
First time here, went to the counter and said “we want meat, no sandwiches, just good bbq meats and a lot of it.” Without hesitation the man at the counter (seemed like the owner) said “perfect” We were served 2 platters of meat that looked like something from The Flintstones. Brisket, pork belly, chicken, and a GIANT beef rib (which scared me but the meat fell off the bone!) All of the meats were tender as can be and sooooo flavorful. This was the best BBQ place I have ever been in my life. I am a chef that worked in a big BBQ chain restaurant in the past. This place is hands down better than any big and famous BBQ place out there. The best Hambruger, spare ribs, brisket, pork belly, coleslaw, chilly and cornbread on the east coast. Everything made fresh, in house with love. It was a privilege to visit this place.
