Excellent lunch there with friends. Felix was out waiter/bartender. He was great! Made the best drinks and gave helpful answers to some questions we had about the menu. The food was so good! We all agreed it was some of the best we've had in a very long time. Atmosphere was festive in this holiday time. Definitely go there!

Great meal, great service, love the artichokes, the meatballs, the calamari, the Bolognese, it’s a long list. Been here many times and enjoyed each visit. Only issue is the off-putting music that started playing over the sound system during dinner. I have no issue if you want to play a little Sinatra or something easy to listen too but this was pretty harsh and definitely had impact on the conversation at our table. May want to rethink that. Otherwise, all was very good.

Unpretentious authentic Italian cuisine done right. Packs a punch for a quaint restaurant and bar located in the heart of Main St Irvington.

Just moved to Irvington and Mima exceeds expectations. Pros: Friendly service, food really quite good thus far (we will be back). Only observations so far are wines by the glass list could stand more choices and it isn’t priced for every day dining if you’re ordering entrees.

Hate to write this but..... place was empty when we got there....waitress was good, attentive.... after a few more people came in and our dinner came out..... she totally forgot about us, she like never returned to our table, never checked on our drinks....we just waited and waited....asked for dessert and waited some more...lack of customer service skills... disappointing. Food was good, place is very nice.

Amazing experience from the moment we walked in. Excellent service from the start and the food experience to match! Gilbert was our knowledgeable server and Arturo made sure we felt welcomed and like family. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything was delicious and the place is very cozy. Short rib was amazing and fall apart tender. Calimati was lightly fried and not heavy. Good cocktail list and a few good beers to choose from.

Great service; delicious food. Some staff needs more training. A young Latina reached in front of me numerous times to fill water, clear plates etc. the waiter was flawless. Extremely accommodating and provided great advice. I had veal, zucchini, Mista salad. Some of the best veal I have had in over 30 years. No special requests were too difficult. Ticket was $289 for three cocktails, four entrees and two kids plates. Except for the slight need for more training, all was wonderful. Tasty and pleasant.

Our first time here with friends who highly recommended. We were lucky enough to find parking right out front and arrived about 30 minutes ahead of our scheduled reservation time but were seated right away. Servers were pleasant and attentive. I also can understand why reviews included that the restaurant was loud, because it was but we were seated in the back room which was smaller (tight) but a bit less loud. The server told us about some wonderful sounding daily specials but we ordered off of the regular menu anyway.
I had the arugula fennel salad which was a generous portion and very good. The dressing was light and the sliced pears were a really nice touch. My rating for the food would’ve been higher but the pasta nera that I ordered for an entree, with
squid ink pasta, spicy pomodoro base, clams,
calamari, and shrimp, was full of sand from the clams. For the price I would’ve like to have seen more of the seafood. The black squid ink pasta was good but a bit overcooked as it sometimes is after sitting under hot seafood and it wasn’t spicy at all so if you order it for the spice, ask them to turn up the heat on the marinara sauce a bit.
The drinks were good and generous pours. My martini came with a little carafe to top off my glass which was nice. And a great choice of wines by the glass and bottle (hence the name!). A nice experience overall.
