The food here is terrific, and after a long absence, we finally had an opportunity to have dinner there with friends. Since our table wasn't ready for a while, the bartender comped us with drinks while we waited, which was unexpected and gratifying - as well as a really nice thing to do!

We met at this charming Italian spot. The service was perfect. The spaghetti carbonara excellent, the fried calamari was crunchy but tender, the chicken parm was enormous and tasty. Love it at

My partner and I went chose Mima for a Christmas dinner this year. We were looking for something cozy vibe and delicious food (and good wine!). Mima definitely checked those boxes and beyond. My salmon and cavatelli dishes we ordered were so good! Def recommend :)

Bring your tired, your poor, your hungry to Mima. Irvington stalwart (space previously Red Hat- showing my Irvington age here)- solid verging on destination Italian fare where cocktails are enthusiastically paired with stellar pastas and varied specials. Go. You'll like it there.

Mima is my hands down favorite spot for a delicious meal and drinks in a great setting with excellent service. I highly recommend the chick peas and the arugula salad with any of their pasta dishes.

Spectacular meal. Make sure you order at least one dish that includes artichokes. They are, without a doubt, the most amazing artichokes I've ever eaten. Of course, all of their dishes are incredible. I started with the Rucola, which was fresh, tasty, and of course, included the best artichokes of all time. I then had the Pollo Scarpariello. The sweet peppers and sausage, which were part of this masterpiece, made this one of the most memorable entrees I've ever eaten. I topped off the meal with a Tartufo. Not surprisingly, it was out of this world; the chocolate was not too sweet, and the whipped cream was creamy and delicious. In addition to the great food, the service was top notch. Our server was friendly, accomodating, and very efficient. Overall, a great dining experience. Oh, and don't forget the artichokes.

The perfect meal! It was my first time here and what a pretty little spot, lots of character as if you're in Europe. It was restaurant week so I decided to sample a couple things from the restaurant week menu and my friend chose the regular menu. For starters, I ordered the Arancini and she ordered the meatballs. The Arancini were exceptional, really crispy with the perfect crunch and the perfect rice and cheese center. I loved the vodka sauce that was on them. Now for the meatballs, they were so soft and perfectly executed with whipped ricotta and Parmesan on top. Loved everything about them from their consistency to the marinara sauce. For my entrée, I ordered the pasta Bolognese and my friend got the bistecca Di Gancio. The past was very light and the Bolognese sauce was rich and delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare and came with tasty broccoli rabe and creamy mashed potatoes. The wine reduction sauce was delicious. We ended this delightful meal with vanilla gelato and a tartufo. Both were creamy an exceptional. Our waitress was outstanding, very friendly and efficient. Overall, it was just terrific! I can't wait to come back!

We ordered an olive appetizer, the olives were so hard we had to gnaw them off the pits! I had the salmon - the waitress said we cook the salmon medium is that okay, I said yes. The salmon was very overcooked. My partner had chicken Parmesan - overcooked and she had to ask for a steak knife. Pasta too al center The ambiance beautiful, the background music soothing. The waitress was sweet and efficient. Will we be going back - no, there are other closer to us Italian restaurants with better food. The water they served was warm.

The food was down to earth but had a subtle complexity that didn't go unnoticed or unappreciated. It is worth the trip and I can't wait for my next visit.

This was probably one of the top 10 worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. The noise level is very loud, but added to that was a table of six next to us that were literally shouting at each other in conversation. My party could not even have a conversation because we could not hear each other, and it made the entire meal very stressful and the food unenjoyable. I did speak to the hostess and asked her to have the manager please talk to the table and ask them to tone it down a little bit. She said she would but no one ever did come, nor did the manager bother to come to our table and talk to us. Even the waiter commented how he couldn’t even talk with us because they were so loud. Spending close to $300 on a meal we could not enjoy with a management who clearly does not care about their your dining experience is not something I care to ever repeat.
