Outstanding menu and service. Wish we ate outside, but there were bees that were causing issues. Lovely location inside, but definitely felt like a restaurant as opposed to a greek taverna. Didn't matter either way because the food was terrific. Would go back for both the meal and the drink menu.

My colleague and I had a really solidly satisfying dining experience at MP Taverna. Our server (David) was excellent - personable, great recommendations, professional. The staff vibe was really positive so that makes the experience even better. There are honestly TOO many options between the regular and extensive specials menus. It makes it really hard to decide and doesn't feel necessary because everything honestly looked amazing. Relaxed and nicely designed interior with very comfortable seating. I'll definitely add it to my local favs list!

Excellent fresh seafood and wonderful Greek and Mediterranean menu. Good cocktails. Great location. Best value in our area. Chef/owner is terrific and really cares about the customers and food. Professional courteous staff.

MP Tarverna is a go to for us for years. Went for the first time with friends from rockland. They loved it and will be going back with friends from Long Island who I guess, need to learn what real Greek food taste like. We are spoiled. We already know. Always delicious.

Excellent creative and ample food. We loved the Fava soup, pork chop, branzino. The dip combo was excellent. Nice confident waitstaff. Go early. It gets crowded.

MP Taverna is one of the best restaurants in the Rivertowns. The grilled fish is always perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sides are delicious, especially the smashed fried. Last night we ordered two appetizer specials - the zucchini crab cake croquettes and the fries with brussels sprouts. The portions were huge and amazing. Never thought to pair brussels with tzatziki. More than enough for 5 adults to share. Everyone loved their cocktails. This was the perfect restaurant to celebrate our anniversary.

The food is consistently outstanding. I get the octopus always. I don't normally order muscles elsewhere, but theirs don't have a skunky taste and are literally finger licking good.
Chef Michael's food is incredible, and equally important is the amazing service of the staff. Also, the GM Liz is fantastic and it is her leadership that keeps MP Taverna as a spot we keep coming back to! Highest recommendations all around! -Jen

Amazing!!!! We toured the Lyndhurst Mansion and wanted lunch-we ate one of the best lunches ever. Beautiful room and great, really attentive but not nosey service. The Chef Michael P. checked on the diners and was honestly asking if we were pleased. We were very pleased: the 2 of us shared the meatballs-so fluffy and delish with a very unique sauce. The beet salad and the Amish Chicken Souvlaki was accompanied by many sides and was fantastic. The Iced Tea was fresh and we even received 2 eclairs free from the wonderful waitstaff-everybody received these yummy desserts. We will return.

Best Bronzini (Lavraki on the menu) I have ever had. I discovered this gem of a restaurant in 2022 and have since returned to it about 8 times, each time bringing a different person with me. All my friends loved it and will return. The Bronzini is marinated simply with lemon, olive oil and salt & pepper and is cooked to perfection. They do not debone it which makes eating is so much more fun. I highly recommend this place if you love fish. Another plus is the area. Beautiful part of Irvington by the Hudson river. The views are amazing Thank you
