Lobster artichoke spinach dip was rich and smoky. MP salad was generous for two. Lamb shank special with Orzo and spinach was excellent snd while the scallops arrived a little undercooked they were promptly heated up properly. Service was excellent and owner/manager has everything under control

Went for dinner last night. The food was amazing. We started with the salt & pepper ribs, which were fall off the bone and the octopus, which was delicious and also the foie gras. All great options. My wife had the Greek Paella that she liked and I had the pasta with shrimp and lobster. My dish had a little kick and was absolutely delicious. They were packed on a Friday night. The house drinks were ok, nothing amazing. I expected better drinks for $19 each. Food is pretty expensive, but the portions were large and everything was very good. The one complaint I had is they charged me $7 for a club soda in a little bottle, which I think is excessive. I’ll definitely be back, and skip the club soda next time.

The food is amazing. You can taste the quality ingredients. The atmosphere is also very well designed.
The waiters are very accommodating and thoughtful. I told them I was allergic to egg and the waiter got me an eggless dessert.

Nice Restaurant. Came at a particularly bad time where they were short staffed which led to awkward situations with the wait staff. The owner and hostess were helping out throughout and checking in on people. The tables were very close together to where you were you could hear the next tables conversation. The food was good and served for a nice twist to traditional Greek food.

Came here for a small birthday lunch. Service was superb with great recommendations. Interior is friendly and welcoming - loved the high ceilings. And of course the food -food was excellent. Foie Gras was creamy and generous. Octopus dish was phenomenal - very refreshing with a nice bed of tzatziki and chickpeas and generous serving of octopus. Scallops were outstanding - generous portion of soft slightly seared scallops on fresh spinach puree. I had sardines dish - which I enjoyed but is not for everyone due to explosion of favor (think olives, feta, capers, garlic) And we also got lobster risotto which was good and could have fed 3 people easily. Drinks were quite enjoyable as well. Price on a high-end side, but we did order some of the most expensive dishes on the menu. Overall I would highly recommend MP Tavern (especially after touring local mansions and museums - bring a good appetite)

Went to MP Taverna for lunch today and it was fantastic as always. Chef Mike was there and he and the staff were so nice and accommodating. The food was delicious - we had the tzatziki to start and then had the burger with smoked mozzarella as well as the hanger steak. The fries were crispy and everything was cooked to perfection. Thanks again Chef Mike for another amazing meal.

This place is located in a nice place close to the river. Nice patio area for the summer. Seafood is fresh to the table and the cooking keeps its original taste with some spice. Paella is a big plate with very nice juice and the shrimp is a highlight. Cocktail is just average. Service is good. Nice to have complimentary dessert.
