We LOVE A Taberna! Best Portuguese food on Long Island!!!! Thank you for another great meal!
Had an early reservation ordered the skirt steak and it was delicious. Great place to dine especially if you like eating early.
This is one of our favorite restaurants, food is amazing, wine, and the service can not be better. Try the monkfish with the champagne sauce and shrimp. Almost forgot the desserts, wow!!!
The onion soup that I had tasted like water with a cube of bouillon dropped in it, and my swordfish had zero taste. The waiter that we had was one of the most unfriendly waiters ever!
Everything was wonderful! The sangria is devine! We were not rushed at all.The service was fantastic and the staff were all so kind and attentive.
Went to A Taberna for NewYear's Eve and my family loved it! Had the Octopus as well as the Burrata salad for appetizer. We all had the NY strip for main course (perfectly seasoned and cooked) and the Cerradura for dessert. What a beautiful time and great value!!!
Food is always excellent, never a miss. Can get a little loud with convisation if crowded.
Great food and service.

One of my favorite places. Everything is good!
One of the best restaurants in the area! every dish I've had was delicious and they always have great specials of coarse the sangria is so good but so is the craft cocktails made by Frank a knowledgeable bartender he also makes the best espresso martini, the owner is one of the nicest people he try’s to make sure he talks to everyone and make them feel at home but it is hard to do on the really busy nights, the staff is friendly and really try’s to make you have a great experience, the restaurant is clean, spacious and a cute atmosphere.

Food is outstanding. Place can be noisy. Conversations maybe difficult to conduct due to noise levels. Small parking lot with available street parking.

My husband and I just returned from having dinner at the restaurant. The dinner was good. However, what we found noteworthy was the manager who went around and greeted the patrons at all the tables, while he looked directly at us and completely ignored our table. We shared our observations with our friends who recommended the restaurant, and
we will not be returning. We certainly didn't feel as if the atmosphere was welcoming to all guests.
