If you love coffee, do yourself a favor and throw out the store bought beans and go visit Rich. His knowledge and passion for coffee are evident in each cup we brew! “4th visit. Not as good as the last three, but still tasty. Luciano calamari was a teeny bit over but good. Arrabbiatia is better.
Veal Francese was a little bland but perked up with a pinch or two of salt. Leftovers were great on a baguette next day.

$5 is really steep for a bar cola which was mostly flat. Don't order it.”

I can say that everything is totally fresh, deliciously juicy, the food is very delicious, the only thing I don't like is that there are not enough tables for the service public, only two, it is a little small if you want to eat in the place

“My husband and I love DOX. Not only do we love the atmosphere, the view, the food, and drinks but what we love the most are the staff! I wish I knew everyone's name because I would give them all a shout out. Our server, whom we have followed wherever she goes (that is probably one of the main reasons we frequent DOX now that I am thinking about it), Dana, is super! She is attentive and genuinely cares about her customers. She remembers our names, what we like to drink, and what we usually order for food. “Just had an RVC fire department brunch here. Jackie Amato is amazing as the event coordinator, patient, kind and so wonderful to work with. We had the brunch buffet and omelet station. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff and servers were outstanding, helpful and so genuinely kind. They were so willing to help set up our centerpieces and couldn't do enough to make everything so special. Our bartender Victor was off the charts amazing. The room was beautiful and bright. I would have another event there tomorrow if I could. Thank you EGP.”

“I’m just shy of 50 and this is my first time in LI while residing in NY my entire life. My gf and I came down from Saratoga last minute after our trip to Lauderdale was canceled. We thank Jimmy Hays, his awesome staff and friendly local regulars for their hospitality and overall friendliness. We sat at the bar, felt like I was home at my local favorite establishment.
