“Lovely experience. Girl and I are big time bahn mi people. We usually drive to queens or just miss this type of food. We’re not to far away but we seldom get out. We’re both in the food industry and Monday and Tuesday we go out for errands and what not. We popped in. Warm greeting. She got a summer roll. I got veggie spring rolls and we each got a bahn mi. Delicious. Great bread. She got the short rib I got the pulled chicken. Probably go for pork belly next time. I wish there was little extra schmear of pate but they probably play it safe for common people. Iced coffee was fire”

“I'd recommend this place ... sort of. We chose to sit on the dining side since it was only two of us and didn't want the "show". The service was friendly and good but not overly attentive. Our drinks were very good and a fair price (we had the Oceanside Zombie but without the Sprite added). We both ordered the hibachi surf and turf (lobster and filet mignon) which came with a house salad and clear soup, both of which we really enjoyed. The filet was tasty but the pieces were cut very unevenly so some pieces were medium rare and others were close to well done. The lobster tail was very small and too salty. I would not order it again. I was completely disappointed that the veggies were drowning in teriyaki sauce. There was no indication on the menu that they are served in sauce. I typically love hibachi vegetables but I hate teriyaki sauce! They reminded me more of Chinese takeout vegetables than Japanese hibachi. The fried rice was good but not the best. It came with lots of peas and I hate peas. Another disappointment but not a surprise was they don't offer hibachi mustard sauce. Like so many other places these days they offer yum yum sauce instead which we refused because, yuck yuck. They offered us some ice cream on the house (I think because the server knew I was very disappointed about the teriyaki sauce). It came to the table in little plastic cafeteria style cups with the pull back paper top. LOL. I'm glad it did though because the top listed the ingredients and let's just say, we immediately sent the ice cream back. All in all, not the greatest hibachi experience but also not the worst. I would maybe go back for drinks and try some other menu items ... and hold the teriyaki sauce!”

“Meta always goes above and beyond for a fabulous dining experience. This past Sunday, I called to see if it was possible to bring in an Elvis impersonator for my Dad who is in remission from cancer. Not only was Roberto and his staff receptive to the idea, the whole restaurant was singing along with Elvis and all of us. This night was truly magical and I cannot thank Roberto and his staff enough for making my Dad’s dining experience so memorable. The food was amazing, the drinks were flowing and the dessert was delicious. If you haven’t tried Meta, I highly recommend this fine restaurant for a wonderful night 🎉”

Bagelville is spacious, and there's always room to sit down and read the paper with your bagel and a coffee; that is if you're old school like that. The main reason for my review is the service component of the equation. Oftentimes, Bagel spots can be understaffed and chaotic. People crammed in, long lines, and lackluster experience. My guys at Bagelville want to make sure you get what you came for, and leave with a smile. I recently brought both of my children with me, and it was refreshing the way they interacted with the staff. Overall, if you're in the area, give them a shot. You won't be disappointed. The W7 breakfast wrap is a healthy start to any day of the week.”

“We had a great experience our first time at Mario’s last night!! The star of the show was the Grandma Pizza!!! The sauce was delicious and the crust had the perfect crunch!
We also had the Chicken Vodka Parm pinwheels and they were just as delicious!! The chicken was tender, and the vodka sauce full of flavor. If you haven’t tried the garlic knot pizza it is a Must for all garlic knot fans.
Don’t forget to try an eggplant roll, packed full of eggplant and cheese yumminess!!!

“It's not dine in. I ordered on UE first but then started picking up to avoid all of the tacked on costs. Best egg rolls ever! They don't seem to reuse the oil so much that they taste off and they somehow have always made them so they're never dripping with oil. Obviously I haven't had a good egg roll in a while.

They also actually listen to preferences. I always ask for crunchy broccoli and am so disappointed when I get overcooked or soggy broccoli that will never reheat well. They have done this consistently. My go to Chinese spot now!”

“Love this place. Wish they had more of them in the city limits. Visited this location, south street seaport and the location in coney island. The staff is always super friendly, the custard and flavored ices are always so fresh. I got the vanilla custard with the cherry ice! (Which has real bits of cherry in it!). I live close by and I’m on kid duty on Saturdays so I always order from here.

I always get the same woman and she cracks me up. Knows my address from the system and my order usually but then will just randomly throw me a Wan ton soup for no reason. I keep the quart for my dad because he loves it but you just don’t get stuff like that anymore. That’s how you treat people in the community.

Portions are solid too. I feel like you get a good amount for your money. Also rare nowadays. Delivery can sometimes take awhile but I like my Chinese places busy and fresh. I’m a sesame chicken guy and sometimes I need a little extra sauce but that’s the extent of any “issues”.

I’ll be a lifetime customer.”

“Love Just Salad! This location definitely had its growing pains since it first opened. At first, the service was slow and the employee engagement was poor. This seems to have changed, I met Luis the manager and things seem like they are running well! Rams made my salad and didn’t an excellent job - made sure it was made to my liking and was engaging throughout. Great job turning this location around!”

“This is the first time I ordered Harvest Feast dinner from 7 Brothers Oceanside New York. I was so completely taken back by the quality and care and deliciousness. I ate like I never saw food before. The meal was so good my kids took everything home when my back was turned. I am not cooking anymore, to get this quality food was so enjoyable and better than mine. I know I used them for my daughters christening and that was a hit. I can't say enough about 7 Brothers catered food. But I found them in Oceanside my lucky day. Better than any fancy restaurant food. I am ordering for all my everyday and holidays. I ordered Chicken wings with shrimp fried rice, and a water. I missed the lunch menu time - it’s 11 am to 3 PM.

Food was out in less than 10 minutes. Such a nice aroma.

Food was good. The chicken was crunchy but juicy. The meat was also very soft. Nice. The rice had three shrimp.
Service was nice though.

They take cash and credit, but the credit has a 3.5 % fee. So total amount was $12.68. They don’t take Apple Pay.

Place was clean and tidy. Three tables, two 4 seaters and one 2 seater. Smelled nice too. No Fan or Ac though - but the weather was ok. They also have a tree / plant inside. That’s cool.

It’s Americanized Chinese, not traditional so if you’re in the mood for good ‘ol famous NY Chinese, this is the spot. I even think it beats out the famous place in Wantaugh.”

“We went there for an early dinner on a Saturday. The restaurant was not busy and we got seated right away. The restaurant is very clean and well organized. They have good quality plates and silverware. The bathroom was clean as well.
Our orders were taken timely and we prepared in reasonable time. Everything was delicious! The branzino was superb! Even the greens it came with were excellent! Chicken parm and our salads were delicious as well.
I could only grumble about prices: all the dishes are close to $30.”

Finding capable help these days isn’t easy. To complicate things, Mitchell’s is not that crowded usually zap waitstaff doesn’t do that well on tips so they don’t attract great help.”
