“Without a doubt the closest cooking to remind me of home. Catfish and Shrimp pivots was amazing. Crawfish Etoufee, chicken and sausage gumbo and chicken sausage and shrimp jambalaya was spot on. “I'd recommend this place ... sort of. We chose to sit on the dining side since it was only two of us and didn't want the "show". The service was friendly and good but not overly attentive. Our drinks were very good and a fair price (we had the Oceanside Zombie but without the Sprite added). We both ordered the hibachi surf and turf (lobster and filet mignon) which came with a house salad and clear soup, both of which we really enjoyed. The filet was tasty but the pieces were cut very unevenly so some pieces were medium rare and others were close to well done. The lobster tail was very small and too salty. I would not order it again. I was completely disappointed that the veggies were drowning in teriyaki sauce. There was no indication on the menu that they are served in sauce. I typically love hibachi vegetables but I hate teriyaki sauce! They reminded me more of Chinese takeout vegetables than Japanese hibachi. The fried rice was good but not the best. It came with lots of peas and I hate peas. Another disappointment but not a surprise was they don't offer hibachi mustard sauce. Like so many other places these days they offer yum yum sauce instead which we refused because, yuck yuck. They offered us some ice cream on the house (I think because the server knew I was very disappointed about the teriyaki sauce). It came to the table in little plastic cafeteria style cups with the pull back paper top. LOL. I'm glad it did though because the top listed the ingredients and let's just say, we immediately sent the ice cream back. All in all, not the greatest hibachi experience but also not the worst. I would maybe go back for drinks and try some other menu items ... and hold the teriyaki sauce!”

“Words really cannot express what a perfect setting La Parma III Italian Restaurant was for our family.
I was trying to plan a luncheon to take place after a funeral remotely from San Diego, CA, and had nothing to go on other than a recommendation from the funeral home
I called and spoke to Guido on a Friday and the lunch was being planned for the upcoming Tuesday 8-27th a few days later.
Being in the catering business myself and immediately hearing "no problem" we can do it all, was simply music to my ears. Guido said he would not be in on that Sunday when I wanted to come check it out in person but gladly provided me with the Managers name that would be available that day to meet. When I arrived at the restaurant, I met Richie, and he could not have been more helpful in confirming everything that I had expected to happen.
Not only did they have us set up in a beautiful room with everything ready to go but both Guido and Richie were there during the lunch and worked the entire event in coordination with their amazing team. From the initial contact over the phone, all the way to the completion of the lunch we could not be happier with how professional and accommodating the people at La Parma III were, especially considering we had just lost our loved one. We would call them again for this or any other meal we needed to be catered. In summary, the food and service were five stars, A+, or whatever is the best grade possible!”

“Meta always goes above and beyond for a fabulous dining experience. This past Sunday, I called to see if it was possible to bring in an Elvis impersonator for my Dad who is in remission from cancer. Not only was Roberto and his staff receptive to the idea, the whole restaurant was singing along with Elvis and all of us. This night was truly magical and I cannot thank Roberto and his staff enough for making my Dad’s dining experience so memorable. The food was amazing, the drinks were flowing and the dessert was delicious. If you haven’t tried Meta, I highly recommend this fine restaurant for a wonderful night 🎉”

“I’ve been to every local coffee shop you could think of within the radius of Oceanside to Long Beach. Without doubt this is THE best local coffee shop in the area. Small, quaint little hole in the wall type of shop next to the Oceanside train station that puts out THE best coffee and baked goods. The Pistachio Tiramisu was a total knock out, so so so so good. The owner Vish has to be one of the nicest people I’ve met as well. A hands on owner you can find behind the counter whipping up coffees or out on the patio engaging with his guests. Very nice spot I highly recommend coming here. Their cold brew is the best.”

The food was all vegetarian [Eggplant, Egg salad, Tuna, Veggie wrap, Potato salad, Cole slaw] and no complaints from any of the guests, so all good.

“Pizzaiola has excellent Italian food. The chicken parm hero is good with a generous portion of chicken. Their house salad is great with their creamy Italian dressing. The eggplant rolotini is delicious with two rolls in it and plenty of cheese. There is parking in front . Large parking lot for the strip mall. They have a payment for cash and an add on charge for credit cards. I do recommend pizzaiola.”

“I like to eat their Hot Dog, 10 count Chicken Bites, Fries, and Sprite it’s very good.
When I 1st came inside I saw Mobile Orders and I didn’t realize they have Mobile Orders. I really love the Chicken Bites here they were so yummy. I really love the fries as well they were crispy and salty as well. This has got to be one of the best Hot Dogs that I ever tasted just like Nathan’s Famous. I’m definitely coming back soon. I like when there’s no crowded of people.”

“Honestly, it's my favorite place. They are so attentive and work with any questions or concerns you might have. I have gotten takeout and have dined in both, which have been amazing. If you want to eat there, ask for Kenia, a lovely waitress who cares about her customers. If you are looking for an appetizer, get the fried calamari. They make it just right. Some places make it too crispy or chewy, but I have never had that happen here. If you are looking for a panini, I would recommend the Asti. It is not on the menu, but you can still order it. As for dessert, GET THE FLAN!!! It has a fantastic taste and the perfect texture, which so many places go wrong with.”

- The quality of the salads is always fantastic. It's great that they include the lemon and bread. The dressing is good quality

CONS
- They ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS forget something. Whether its the bread, the extra dressing on the side that I ordered, the lemon, etc.
- Adding additional protein makes almost no difference at all somehow. I ordered a ceasar salad with grilled chicken and it was not enough chicken the first time. So next time I ordered one with 2x extra chicken - I could NOT even tell the difference? Am I being charged extra for what seems to be the same order? Cmon guys”

“What an adorable little cafe! I had 5 minutes to spare, so I ran in and got a cappuccino and Nutella waffle. Let me just say that their coffee is hot and delicious. The "croffle "was crispy,chewy and chocolatey- not too heavy at all. On my way out, I took a carrot cake to go because it looked too good to pass
up. There are also breakfast and lunch items, smoothies, and more. There was a constant flow of customers, and I can see why- inside is cozy and welcoming. I will definitely be returning!”
