“I'd recommend this place ... sort of. We chose to sit on the dining side since it was only two of us and didn't want the "show". The service was friendly and good but not overly attentive. Our drinks were very good and a fair price (we had the Oceanside Zombie but without the Sprite added). We both ordered the hibachi surf and turf (lobster and filet mignon) which came with a house salad and clear soup, both of which we really enjoyed. The filet was tasty but the pieces were cut very unevenly so some pieces were medium rare and others were close to well done. The lobster tail was very small and too salty. I would not order it again. I was completely disappointed that the veggies were drowning in teriyaki sauce. There was no indication on the menu that they are served in sauce. I typically love hibachi vegetables but I hate teriyaki sauce! They reminded me more of Chinese takeout vegetables than Japanese hibachi. The fried rice was good but not the best. It came with lots of peas and I hate peas. Another disappointment but not a surprise was they don't offer hibachi mustard sauce. Like so many other places these days they offer yum yum sauce instead which we refused because, yuck yuck. They offered us some ice cream on the house (I think because the server knew I was very disappointed about the teriyaki sauce). It came to the table in little plastic cafeteria style cups with the pull back paper top. LOL. I'm glad it did though because the top listed the ingredients and let's just say, we immediately sent the ice cream back. All in all, not the greatest hibachi experience but also not the worst. I would maybe go back for drinks and try some other menu items ... and hold the teriyaki sauce!”

“Meta always goes above and beyond for a fabulous dining experience. This past Sunday, I called to see if it was possible to bring in an Elvis impersonator for my Dad who is in remission from cancer. Not only was Roberto and his staff receptive to the idea, the whole restaurant was singing along with Elvis and all of us. This night was truly magical and I cannot thank Roberto and his staff enough for making my Dad’s dining experience so memorable. The food was amazing, the drinks were flowing and the dessert was delicious. If you haven’t tried Meta, I highly recommend this fine restaurant for a wonderful night 🎉”

Puerto Rican restaurants are rare in Long Island, so it was a delight to come here and enjoy delicious authentic Puerto Rican food! “We had a great experience our first time at Mario’s last night!! The star of the show was the Grandma Pizza!!! The sauce was delicious and the crust had the perfect crunch!
We also had the Chicken Vodka Parm pinwheels and they were just as delicious!! The chicken was tender, and the vodka sauce full of flavor. If you haven’t tried the garlic knot pizza it is a Must for all garlic knot fans.
Don’t forget to try an eggplant roll, packed full of eggplant and cheese yumminess!!!

“I have been coming to Bagelville for a while and they never disappoint. Their bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches are so delicious. They know how I like my eggs and not once have they messed up my order. Their burgers are so juicy and their fries are crispy, not burnt or over cooked, just perfect. Their egg salad is fresh and also delicious. Bagels and rolls are also fresh daily. Not once have I ever had any issue with their food. The cook does an amazing job and the guys in the front are so friendly and always have a smile on their face. I wanted to try their new ice latte and the caramel and chocolate ones taste so good. Another thing is that the place is always clean and tidy. They have an excellent menu for breakfast and lunch. You can’t go wrong coming to this place. It’s amazing.”

“Love this place. Wish they had more of them in the city limits. Visited this location, south street seaport and the location in coney island. The staff is always super friendly, the custard and flavored ices are always so fresh. I got the vanilla custard with the cherry ice! (Which has real bits of cherry in it!). “It's not dine in. I ordered on UE first but then started picking up to avoid all of the tacked on costs. Best egg rolls ever! They don't seem to reuse the oil so much that they taste off and they somehow have always made them so they're never dripping with oil. Obviously I haven't had a good egg roll in a while.

They also actually listen to preferences. I always ask for crunchy broccoli and am so disappointed when I get overcooked or soggy broccoli that will never reheat well. They have done this consistently. My go to Chinese spot now!”

I live close by and I’m on kid duty on Saturdays so I always order from here.

I always get the same woman and she cracks me up. Knows my address from the system and my order usually but then will just randomly throw me a Wan ton soup for no reason. I keep the quart for my dad because he loves it but you just don’t get stuff like that anymore. That’s how you treat people in the community.

Portions are solid too. I feel like you get a good amount for your money. Also rare nowadays. Delivery can sometimes take awhile but I like my Chinese places busy and fresh. I’m a sesame chicken guy and sometimes I need a little extra sauce but that’s the extent of any “issues”.

I ordered Chicken wings with shrimp fried rice, and a water. I missed the lunch menu time - it’s 11 am to 3 PM.

Food was out in less than 10 minutes. Such a nice aroma.

Food was good. The chicken was crunchy but juicy. The meat was also very soft. Nice. The rice had three shrimp.
Service was nice though.

They take cash and credit, but the credit has a 3.5 % fee. So total amount was $12.68. They don’t take Apple Pay.

Place was clean and tidy. Three tables, two 4 seaters and one 2 seater. Smelled nice too. No Fan or Ac though - but the weather was ok. They also have a tree / plant inside. That’s cool.

I was so excited to find out their matcha isn’t made with sugar, which is something I look for , and that they have a 20oz for a pretty good price! It’s also so cute it comes in a little aesthetic plastic can. It was delicious as well! Also recommend their lemon iced tea”

“My experience here was a bit mixed. The biggest drawback for me was the fully automated ordering process. I understand why many restaurants are moving in that direction, but I still prefer having the option to interact with a staff member, especially when I have questions or want to make changes to an order. The self-service system worked, but it felt a little impersonal.

That said, the food itself was very good and definitely the highlight of the visit. The burgers tasted fresh and well prepared, with quality beef that stood out from what you get at many fast-casual places. Everything was cooked properly and arrived exactly as ordered.

Another pleasant surprise was the drink selection. There was a huge variety of shakes and soda options, giving customers plenty of choices beyond the standard offerings. While I'm not completely sold on the ordering system, the quality of the food would make me consider coming back again.”

Finding capable help these days isn’t easy. To complicate things, Mitchell’s is not that crowded usually zap waitstaff doesn’t do that well on tips so they don’t attract great help.”
