After trying Pat and Gino’s in Philadelphia, and then others, I was convinced that I did not like cheese wiz on my Philly. I was wrong, hands down this is the best. “Honestly, this place is so slept on... Krave It has the best pizza in Bayside— by a LANDSLIDE. I love that they use unbromated flour and I appreciate that every piece (even the specialty slices with many heavy toppings) has great structure, no flop. Thin & crispy crust, great ratio of sauce and cheese. I also love how clean the restaurant is. They have some incredible specialty slices that I never knew I needed in my life until I tried them! Especially the “Desi Boy” slice and the “white truffle chicken cutlet” slice. I also have to mention their vodka slice with sesame crust 🤤 Everything in this place is high quality, even their regular slices. Their sandwiches are pretty incredible too, and you can tell that the bread is fresh made in house— you don’t feel bloated or overly stuffed after eating them! The owner is super friendly and even gave us a couple extra slices to try to complete our “pie” when we had already ordered a small variety of slices. The staff are all very friendly and it feels very comfortable and less stuffy than some of the other pizzerias in the area. Happy to give this place my business. “When this place first opened up i thought the concept was stupid since we have a million deli’s around here but i was proved very wrong. The sandwiches are all delicious, so are the soups. My go-to is the Buffalo Caesar Wrap which is always loaded with lots of tender chicken, and never has any weird chewy pieces which is great for all you picky chicken eaters like me. Cashiers are always super nice as well. My ONLY issue is they got rid of the Sweet Chili Brussels Sprouts which were my absolute favorite. Pleaseeeeeee bring those back (or give me the recipe) because no one makes them as good as Roast !“

“I stopped by the Panini store in Mineola and had one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Everything tasted fresh, the burger was perfectly cooked, and the flavors were on point.

What really stood out though was the customer service. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel personal instead of rushed. You can tell they actually care about their customers and the quality of the food they serve.

If you’re in Mineola and want great burgers, solid paninis, and genuinely good service, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“I've had half way decent experiences at a couple Jersey Mike's in the past. I was visiting a friend and we decided to get some, I tried the buffalo chicken cheesteak for the first time and it was easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, so good! A couple weeks later I went to a different jersey Mike's local to me, craving the buffalo chicken and it was not great maybe a 3/5. It had none of the flavor I remember enjoying so much and overall it just missed the mark of what the East Meadow chain delivered. My friend who frequents the East Meadow one says they're always consistent and tasty, so I have to imagine my amazing sandwich there wasn't a fluke. If you're deciding which location to visit, this is the one.“

The only improvement I’d suggest is that they actually ROLL it (like the picture on their menu) in paper foil so it’s easy to eat. Instead they fold it in half on a paper plate and wrap that in foil which requires some reconstruction.But I’ll definitely be back, great neighborhood spot for a quick bite!“

“I came here on Sunday evening with my boyfriend. The two gentleman behind the counter were very nice and made us delicious sandwiches. My turkey and provolone was layered perfectly with just the right about of condiments. My boyfriend Philly cheesesteak was cooked to perfection. Only kicker is if we went any later they would have been out of white bread but overall very good experience. We ate inside and the store was presentable.“

“My experience at Jimmy John’s was FANTASTIC! 5 STARS! The male (older guy) that made the sandwiches for me was extremely polite and courteous and very patient with me as I was browsing the menu board before placing my order. I came in the evening hours between 6-8pm and the service speed was quick and top notch from beginning to end! I ordered the Spicy East Coast Italian Sub 8” & a Firecracker Wrap. Both were delicious and I felt the value I paid for them were justified with the amount of meat and overall size of the sandwiches.

The Jimmy John’s location is shared with Dunkin Donuts as well, and there’s ample parking in their lot!
