“They make it really good, I get Italian bread, turkey, salami, American cheese, (Honey mustard or mayonnaise) then they ask toasted, and I say yes then add lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños and red onions. Delicious ? but everyone has different taste but I love it.“
“My favourite place for a cheese steak on Long Island. The food is fresh and light and tastes amazing. The service is quick and efficient. Simple menu but offers enough to not over complicate it. Ambience is ok. It's in a mall so you don't get the full experience but worth the visit“
“I've only discovered Press two months ago, and I've already been there multiple times. The menu is very diverse, making it tough to make a decision. As a vegetarian, that's not always the case. The food is fresh and amazing ( the fries are ?!) Service is friendly.Press 195 is my new favorite choice!“
“Got a chance to try this place as I was in the area and wow was this a great sandwich! I got the mini and it was HUGE! The bread and all the ingredients were fresh and it was just a very amazing sandwich I got the Ruben with provolone and it was top notch definitely will be back to try more sandwiches!“
“Great taste of home for this New Orleans transplant. The crawfish etouffee and gumbo are delicious. The bread pudding is yummy too. There is a well stocked market adjacent to the ordering counter that has many basic groceries as well as prepared foods and regional specialties. Looking forward to trying more of their extensive menu.“
“I have been following this shop on Ig for a while and finally got around to trying it. Incan happily say I was not disappointed. I had the Jackpot with honey money mustard and my fiance had a chicken caesar wrap and we split drunken fries. All of it was delicious. Both of ours had plenty of chicken and taste. The fries were delicious and the vodka sauce was very good. Also tried the mac and cheese and it was good. Overall cant wait to go back and try more of the menu!“
“Navigating through the culinary journey at Flowers & Flour, I've found an enchanting blend of whimsical and traditional bakery experiences, albeit peppered with a touch of unpredictability regarding item availability. On a vibrant Saturday at 3pm, the bakery, although thoroughly sold out of their delectable goods, persisted in remaining open, exclusively offering drinks. A second venture on a more tranquil Monday afternoon revealed a more generous offering of their array of baked items and a singular tuna sandwich amidst assorted gimbaps in various flavors - burdock, tuna, spam, ham, and ham and cheese. The baked delights, from a buttery and moist strawberry jam scone to an indulgent spam gimbap, filled with danmuji, eggs, carrot, and artificial crab meat, proved to be a delightful indulgence. While mayo's presence was mentioned in other reviews, it was the sesame oil that notably graced my palate. The basque cheesecake, however, stole the culinary show with its soft, perfectly sweetened profile, and a delectably burnt exterior that cleverly sidestepped any overly charred flavor. Amidst the delightful savors, the seating area emerged as a vibrant haven, where older Korean adults gathered for warm, lively chats, weaving a tapestry of community and conviviality. The allure of their cake has solidified my resolve to secure a reservation to explore these tantalizing treats in the future. A noteworthy addition to my experiences was the prompt and helpful service. Encountering items labeled in Korean or presented in acronyms posed a minor hurdle, which was gracefully alleviated by the amiable staff, who kindly offered translations and explanations, enhancing the inclusive and welcoming ambiance. While the somewhat capricious availability of certain items does invite a need for flexibility in your visit, the splendidly executed confections, coupled with the heartening atmosphere and commendable service, render Flowers & Flour a destination worthy of repeat visits.“
“I've been coming here for years. Great casual outdoor area in the back when the weather is nice. Pretty extensive varied menu so no matter what you like, you'll definitely find something to eat here. My go-to is their #38, the steak with the mozzarella and sweet onion jam is not to be missed. Their fries are also amazing and served with your choice of sauces. Super friendly service here every time.“
“Highly Recommend!!!!!We have a large group come to Hofstra every year for a competition. Pantano's takes care of our breakfasts each morning. They are amazing, all of our orders have been correct (which is no easy task when when are order 35 breakfast)Even for a large group - the food is fresh, hot and on time - not to mention delicious. The staff is wonderful and an extra shout out to Hector!“
“It was my first time here, a friend recommended it due to the halal opinions available. When I walked in, I was greated right away. While I was looking at the menu the employees asked if I needed help and asked my needs and suggested the halal options. The selection wasn't grand but enough to not overwhelm me. In regards to the food it was par and I was pleased. In all services was amazing, food was good and atmosphere was peaceful.“
“Decent little sandwich place next to Dunkin Donuts. Employees are pleasant, service is okay, sandwiches are pretty good. Parking lot in front of the store. Takeout or sit at one of the four tables inside. Nice for a change of pace.Vegetarian options: There are optionsDietary restrictions: Options existParking: Parking lot in frontKid-friendliness: Okay for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Small place but accessible“
“From the first moment you enter this restaurant they give you a pleasant feeling. Very courteous team, it is a nice place to hang out with your friends or with your date. delightful cuisine, specialist chef de cuisine, good cost and courteous service. Highly recommended.“
“I'm giving it 4 stars, because I went in looking for lunch, not an additional 10 pounds! Hahaha the food was so good!!! And desert......stop it! I should bill you for the sugar coma I was left in, the cookies, canoli, puddings also so very good. This place is amazing, a whole lot of everything no matter what your taste buds are craving!“
“I had to write about this Subway location...my favorite location in the Springfield Gardens area. The attendants are always welcoming. They are attentive to you as they prepare for sandwich. I'm dieting and get a sub once a week. They are ALWAYS friendly and upbeat. Even when it's crowded and in dealing with the young-uns after school. Kudos to you all for maintaining a nice spot in my neighborhood.“
“Really good sandwiches, way better than any of the Subways in the area. I'm coming here from now on. Also love the smoothies. The best part is customer service, the lady at the counter was very friendly, and accommodating about my food allergies.“
“Day of visit 1/15/2024 In the words of my very wise 7yr old "best day ever!" We really had such a great experience that day. And I certainly have the employees at Kraveit to thank for it. We got there just as they had opened, and only two pizzas were out. Seriously, we were there for a late breakfast haha. We were hungry and it was clear lol. My daughter wanted the Mac and cheese slice and ofcourse that wasn't out. When I asked how long it would take for them to make the pizzas, also, if they were going to make a Mac and cheese pie soon? Paul (the awesome Pizza maker) said which ones do you want? I'll make em now. WHAT!!! He knew we'd get a slice or two, but offered to make whichever ones we wanted next. We ordered the Mac-tastic, sweet devil, and, fuego chicken. My daughter described the Mac and cheese slice perfectly. She said "this is blowing my mind with goodness lol". It's really a gem of a slice. The chicken fuego was my personal favorite. Perfectly balanced and delicious. The sweet devil wasn't my favorite, but I see the appeal. Their garlic knots were perfect. And dont forget the krave-it soda! It's addictingly delicious. I also reccomend the fried oreoz for dessert. Now while we were waiting for the pizzas to be done, we got our own pizza making class. My daughter was elated, and the bursts of laughter and happiness wouldn't stop. Diana showed her how she put the sauces on, and answered all her questions. Paul explained the toppings on the slices, twirled the dough for her, and showed her how he sliced them. She must have said "best day ever" over 20 times. She was so happy she forgot the was hungry lol. I know how busy this place can be, and how they crank out the pizzas, so to take the time to answer a curious child's questions really speaks of Paul and Diana's character. I've been coming to Krave-it since my college days (when it opened). And I'm happy to say, that they've officially sealed themselves in the hearts of a 2nd generation. My kids will be here and in the words of my 7yr old "I will bring my kids here one day". Thank you Paul, Diana, and Krave-it for serving great food, and creating such an inclusive environment for families.“
“Just had a pick up order for a chicken California and they filled it up with chicken! It was super tasty and they even paid attention to special requests which I hardly expect from some places. Also, while picking up my order, there was a customer who was a bit difficult ordering but they staff handled it with a smile.“
“Food - delicious and served hot, which is a big plus for me; ordered classic wings with Thai Chilli sauce, an order of boneless wings with mango habanero sauce and fries (all less than $25)Service - good; the young men held it downAtmosphere - small space, but nice and cleanParking: Small lot behind the building for all businesses...often packed, but wait 5mins or so and sometimes moving; drive slowly and carefully; people walk out into traffic or are sitting on the sides at times... interesting crowd.“
“Such good , fresh food in a cafe like atmosphere. Stopped in the other day for lunch on a friend's recommendation. Super friendly & efficient staff. I had a ham, provolone tomato wrap , it came lightly grilled. soooo good ! The space has both high and low tables comfortably spaced . They do have a liquor license & offer brunch on weekends with bottomless drinks for a reasonable place .“
“Consistently good food: sandwiches and soups. Have been getting them for years. Have tried both Bethpage and mineola. Both have good food and quick service. Order ahead on their website to save on the bs fees from 3rd party nonsense. If there is a special that interests you, get it. Most let very room.“
“Well I just moved here to forest hills queens and I discovered this bagel shop I must say the bagels are really good I love the workers very good at their job especially Juan customer service is excellent he should be the owner of the store actually I thought he was.price it's worth it.“
“Probably the best breakfast sandwich in Nassau County. Lunch sandwiches and menu sandwiches are also top notch. Team behind the counter is always nice and courteous. They also think ahead and ask the little questions that matter when going to your local deli. It's usually a 5-10 minute turn around but on a busy beautiful weekend or during the summer months the earlier the better. Quaint atmosphere with a small counter area by the window to eat at but also a couple of spots outside. In the later hours the back door turns into a no frills all thrill burger haven (red light). Some nights they switch to burritos (green light). Hours for that are 730p-130a (check IG though).“
“First time trying jersey mikes ! 10/10 amazing I definitely enjoyed every bite and will definitely be getting this more often ! Best subs everything is so fresh and tasty , being that it was my first time here I didn’t realize they didn’t take bills over 50-100 dollars and it was all I had and I was ready to go get change and come back and the girl that helped assist in making my sandwich was so nice she took the 50 I had so we can make the purchase she did let me know she would try to help me and she did ! What a friendly and nice gesture of her I’m so mad I didn’t get her name to add in this review. I can say the staff is very nice and pleasant! Def check them out“
“This team did a top notch job during the day of giving! The staff all had smiles beaming on their faces and they were so happy to be able to give back to the Special Olympics of NY! I loved my tuna sub Mike's Way -- it's my go-to sub!“
“Very good and healthy love the decorations. Their best rap is the number 11 the logo burrito wrap and it really is so good. I got the chicken Caesar wrap which it was good as well but the Caesar dressing is definitely store-bought which makes me not like it as much but my boyfriend got the loco burrito and I ate half of his and I feel happy!“
“Lovely trip on the train even tho I missed the right train the shuttle bus driver that takes me to E-train stop was great I must also congratulate him and a passenger who help me through the rest of my journey and I reached home in safety. Thanks J train Etrain and team“
“It's a sandwich shop. I gave it five stars in comparison to similar places such as subway. You can find better at worse at a deli but this is convenient, especially when traveling. Very consistent from store to store throughout the tri-state area at least.“
“Been going here since it opened in 1995, and after trying other Subway stores, I know why this will remain the only Subway I ever go to. Always fresh, clean and employees are friendly. I've tried the Tuna sandwich at other Subways, and it's difficult to get past the stale, old taste and smell. This store stays busy (another reason why I guess the food is so fresh), so I see why they need to move quickly, but still remain personable. Family owned business, same owners since the store opened, it's a rare find these days. They made it through Covid with many of the same employees it seems, when other places were laying people off. Good people, and great food. A Valley Stream staple.Vegetarian options: Many different vegetarian options - wraps, sandwiches, salad bowls.Wheelchair accessibility: They have an entrance with a full wheelchair ramp.“
