“Honestly would have preferred to gatekeep but this spot is just too good to not talk about🥹 this comfy lil spot in Oceanside is our new favorite place to get all of the best comfort food: chicken and waffles, smashburgers and fries, and of course, the halal mixed platter 🤤

Aliza at the front counter is so nice and welcoming and the food was so fresh, delicious, and affordable! Totally recommend this spot if you’re in the area or if you’re just looking to eat something delicious!! 100/10 stars!! ⭐“

“I loved the food there. This place is very nice with very kind people! The kabobs are tender. Something that was amazing was the Rice Pudding. The rice pudding was so good we ended up getting more. There menu is very versatile and they have so many options. This place is an excellent place to go. The people working there were also very kind and friendly and made us feel very welcome. “The chicken platter was probably the best one i’ve had in a while, the hot sauce is actually legit. Doesn’t use any red food dyes like halal munchies. Very nice guy and the price is very budget friendly. It even came with pita bread slices and i didn’t even ask for it. You even get a free drink with the order which not a lot of carts and the sit down halal spots like naz, shah or halal munchies do anymore. Good parking spots nearby as well since it’s located in a strip shopping center.“

“Today I visited Amir Halal Restaurant and was seriously impressed. The place was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. I ordered the mild spicy crispy chicken sandwich and it was fantastic, super crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and just the right amount of heat. The flavor was bold but balanced, making it one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had in a while. The fries were freshly seasoned, hot, and crispy also not your average side! They paired perfectly with the sandwich and really completed the meal. The food came out fresh, and the service was quick and friendly. If you're looking for quality halal comfort food with great flavor, I definitely recommend checking this place out. I'll definitely be coming back for more!“

Overall I recommend this place for kids and adults. The spice levels canbe altered by asking for little hot sauce and more white sauce. The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. “It’s so clean here, I even posted it on TikTok. The man at the front counter was super helpful and the prices are worth it! They even have combo meals for certain items like the hot dog combo which was amazing, it came with hot dog, fries and a soda! It’s sanitary compared to other places. Definitely 10/10 recommendation. They don’t play with the food when it comes to here. They have plant based options if you don’t eat meat and even gluten free options. EDIT: I forgot to add, it’s also HALAL“

It was amazing. Definitely the best halal food I've had in a while and there are a lot of good ones in the Nassau area. Go to Hunchos. It's open late.“

“Tried a new halal Chinese spot in Valley Stream and it did not disappoint! The chicken wings were crispy and packed with flavor, the lo mein and fried rice were so fresh and satisfying, and the chicken eggrolls were perfectly crunchy. The beef broccoli in garlic sauce was definitely a standout — super tender and full of bold taste. They also have bubble tea, which was just okay, but the food made up for it. Such a cute little place and a great option for halal Chinese in Valley Stream!“
