“We spend between $40 to $100 each month. It is our favorite halal food place around the Franklin Square New Hyde Park area. We also tried the cart style ones around Little Neck and Hillside Ave and this place blows them out of the water in price, quantity and quality. Each platter can be split for two servings if you wanted to.

We usually buy the lamb and chicken rice platters which we love. But we have tried the chicken burger, beef burger, and the Philly cheesesteak also.

The chicken sandwich was presented to us beautifully but is dry and horrendous, they need to do better. I can make a better beef burger at home. And the philly cheesesteak is more like a chopped cheese hero. The Philly is not too bad but there is very little meat for the price and you may still be hungry afterwards.

The servers here are friendly and quick and efficient. And the place is pleasant to eat in if you choose to. I would stick to their platters or their gyros when ordering.“

Overall I recommend this place for kids and adults. The spice levels canbe altered by asking for little hot sauce and more white sauce. The price is affordable and it is ready in less than 10 minutes.“

“First time trying both the Chicken & Beef Doner Boxes.I was pleasantly surprised how GOOD everything was! The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. I highly recommend giving this a try ! We will definitely be return customers ! The ladies were quite helpful and informative about the food and it's history as well as super nice !“

“This was the best Uyghur food I’ve ever eaten, and I eat a lot of Uyghur food. The chicken and rice was absolutely magnificent, but make sure you can handle some spice. The chicken kewap blew my group out of the water with its deliciousness, and don’t even get me started on the polo. Incredible 🤌🏼. And this was some of the best customer service I’ve ever received. Despite a slight language barrier, the staff worked their hardest to ensure my comfort and enjoyment. Next time I’m in New York, I will eat here every night. The chicken wings were crispy and packed with flavor, the lo mein and fried rice were so fresh and satisfying, and the chicken eggrolls were perfectly crunchy. The beef broccoli in garlic sauce was definitely a standout — super tender and full of bold taste. They also have bubble tea, which was just okay, but the food made up for it. Such a cute little place and a great option for halal Chinese in Valley Stream!“

The server answered any questions I had and has a very friendly and approachable demeanor.Coming from the Island background of Jamaica I tried the Curry chicken wrap. It was so good, it didn't need no sauce. The server recommended the Butter chicken, and I came back 2 hours later to try it and he remembered my order. The food is freshly made to order. Very impressed! This will be my new lunch/breakfast spot.“
