“In a world where takeout seems to be declining in both quality and affordability, Shah’s is different. If I lost my car, my home, all my money, was expelled by my school and broke both of my legs, I would use my arms to drag myself to this Shah’s location. Nothing can beat the union of rice, chicken, salad, and white sauce, and at this Shah’s location, this iconic dish is perfected. I would also recommend trying the falafel, which is crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside. There is no Shah’s in my city, but it is worth a trip to taste this food. The halal restaurant in my city can’t even make falafel correctly. Shah’s is very fairly priced; for about 12 bucks you can get a platter big enough to bring some leftovers home to your family, and a soda as well. The service is very pleasant as well, and this particular location has a cozy interior setup with booths to enjoy your food in tranquility. As long as a Shah’s Halal Food restaurant still stands somewhere in the world, there is hope for humanity.“

“Zabib’s Chicken Haus in Garden City was an amazing experience. The staff was very nice, polite, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious—very tasty, fresh, and not oily at all, which we really appreciated. Everything tasted clean and well made, and you can tell they care about the quality of their food. The restaurant was also very clean, which made the experience even better. “The chicken platter was probably the best one i’ve had in a while, the hot sauce is actually legit. Doesn’t use any red food dyes like halal munchies. Very nice guy and the price is very budget friendly. It even came with pita bread slices and i didn’t even ask for it. You even get a free drink with the order which not a lot of carts and the sit down halal spots like naz, shah or halal munchies do anymore. Good parking spots nearby as well since it’s located in a strip shopping center.“

“It’s so clean here, I even posted it on TikTok. The man at the front counter was super helpful and the prices are worth it! They even have combo meals for certain items like the hot dog combo which was amazing, it came with hot dog, fries and a soda! It’s sanitary compared to other places. Definitely 10/10 recommendation. They don’t play with the food when it comes to here. They have plant based options if you don’t eat meat and even gluten free options. EDIT: I forgot to add, it’s also HALAL“
