“Great food at a great price. Best of all cart and I've been to a lot. whenever I'm in the neighborhood I stop by and usually get myself two Gyros so I can eat one for lunch and have one for dinner. Everything's fresh and cooked perfectly. If you're ever in the neighborhood definitely stop by and try it you will be a customer for life.“

I ordered the mild spicy crispy chicken sandwich and it was fantastic, super crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and just the right amount of heat. The flavor was bold but balanced, making it one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had in a while. The fries were freshly seasoned, hot, and crispy also not your average side! They paired perfectly with the sandwich and really completed the meal. The food came out fresh, and the service was quick and friendly. “The food is so delicious, juicy, and perfectly seasoned—not dry at all.

I love that they grill everything over charcoal in the open air, so you can actually watch them prepare and cook your food. It makes the whole experience even more enjoyable.

The smoky charcoal flavor makes everything taste amazing.

Their sauces are amazing, especially the Mango Habanero sauce!

Another nice touch is that they always serve free tea to their guests.

The waiting time is reasonable, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great food, great service, and a really nice atmosphere.

“Come here daily for salads, burrito bowls, Greek bowls. Pop Salad and El Diez menus are a great deal under 10 dollars (guacamole is free) they even have a combo with chips and drink for $10. Portions are big. You can customize everything, and it tells you in the app if anything has gluten, dairy, or nuts. Hard to review a restaurant that has this level of variety, but the healthy dishes are definitely as good as anywhere else for less money and faster service. The fast pass subscription gets you money discounted on every order automatically so it pays for itself if you come regularly which isn't a problem at a place that has everything and is open until almost midnight every day. The benefit of Wonder having everything is that the entire family can get whatever type of food they want from one location and you don't have to agree on what to have for dinner or lunch anymore. No need to wait on a line at Chipotle anymore.“

“I remember when there was only one, maybe two Shah's Halal restaurants anywhere on the island. Now, it seems, they've enjoyed a well-deserved growth spurt. The franchise appears to be flourishing across its multiple locations - for good reason: simple layout, uncomplicated menu, late hours, good food. Shah's has become a late-night staple across Nassau County, occupying a niche that was left vacant for so long by Mediterranean/Middle Eastern fare. Previously, if you wanted a late-night bite, your options were: diner, fast-food drive-thru, or ZA Late Night Pizza. The wait times at this location during its busiest hours can be fairly long, which might indicate that they are a little understaffed for the volume of customers they receive, but conversely, that could also serve as a testament to how much the place is beloved by its loyal fan base, which, I might add, extends across multiple demographics. Don't get the red sauce if you can't handle spicy food, and if you're a vegetarian like I am, you'll be happy to know that their falafel has actually improved considerably in recent years - might be a touch dry, though, so if I were you I'd opt for some extra white or green sauce. This location is in an interesting spot because I never actually park in their lot, but in the lot directly adjacent to theirs beside the Dunkin'. It is significantly easier to get in and out of that one than theirs, which doesn't have its own light on Wantagh Ave, and forces you to combat the relentless deluge of traffic getting off of the Southern State Parkway or coming down from Hempstead Turnpike. Staff is always very friendly; there's almost always a line even at night, though sometimes only one or two people long. There are a couple of small tables available for dining in, although most prefer takeout here.“
