Our first time visiting and we are officially dubbing this our halal spot! The food was fresh and delicious. The combo over rice was a hearty sized portion, equal in lamb & chicken. And the chicken combo (make sure to add pita!) was *chefs kiss* tasty! It’s a small spot, but there are a few tables to enjoy your meal and there was plenty of customers coming in and out. 10/10 highly recommend! We will definitely be back. :)
I've had numerous halal spots from all over, and halal G's is hands down the BEST. Their food is always fresh and the portions are filling and reasonably priced . Halal spots very often have red colored chicken and it's often due to the use of red #40 a popular food dye. Many EXCEPT for halal G's, who's chicken has a beautiful yellow which reminds me of turmeric and taste like delicious curry. Amazing chicken & lamb over rice. Their white sauce, G sauce, and chutney are all so good. Meat & rice is flavorful and not dry. Honestly some of the best chicken over rice i’ve had around here.
