“Visited Spice Garden tonight for 1st time.

Excellent service. Food portions are quite good and huge portions.

Food spiced very well.

Gotta try the putti ice cream!!!

Only con I would say is the restaurant is lit very brightly.

“Angela the owner is a wonderful lady and the food was great. Very decent sized gyros for the price. Typically the lamb meat is cooked with onions mixed in but when I informed Angela that all three of my kids don’t like onions, she very happily and without hesitation grilled up fresh lamb by itself. I highly recommend this place not only for the great food but a chance to meet with Angela and her very friendly and bubbly personality!“

“I think this is the best chicken place in New York the beef tallow makes a real difference in the fries and chicken everything here is absolutely delicious and it doesn't matter how much of the food you eat there's no heavy or groggy feeling from anything this restaurant serves which blows my mind. “Today I visited Amir Halal Restaurant and was seriously impressed. The place was clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. I ordered the mild spicy crispy chicken sandwich and it was fantastic, super crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and just the right amount of heat. The flavor was bold but balanced, making it one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had in a while. The fries were freshly seasoned, hot, and crispy also not your average side! They paired perfectly with the sandwich and really completed the meal. The food came out fresh, and the service was quick and friendly. “I was here yesterday, ordered Chicken Karahi, Kebabs, Chicken Tikka with Naan. Everything was delicious and closer to the perfection. Raita and special Spicy Onions made things more delicious. “Come here daily for salads, burrito bowls, Greek bowls. Pop Salad and El Diez menus are a great deal under 10 dollars (guacamole is free) they even have a combo with chips and drink for $10. Portions are big. You can customize everything, and it tells you in the app if anything has gluten, dairy, or nuts. Hard to review a restaurant that has this level of variety, but the healthy dishes are definitely as good as anywhere else for less money and faster service. The fast pass subscription gets you money discounted on every order automatically so it pays for itself if you come regularly which isn't a problem at a place that has everything and is open until almost midnight every day. The benefit of Wonder having everything is that the entire family can get whatever type of food they want from one location and you don't have to agree on what to have for dinner or lunch anymore. No need to wait on a line at Chipotle anymore.“

“I remember when there was only one, maybe two Shah's Halal restaurants anywhere on the island. Now, it seems, they've enjoyed a well-deserved growth spurt. The franchise appears to be flourishing across its multiple locations - for good reason: simple layout, uncomplicated menu, late hours, good food. Shah's has become a late-night staple across Nassau County, occupying a niche that was left vacant for so long by Mediterranean/Middle Eastern fare. Previously, if you wanted a late-night bite, your options were: diner, fast-food drive-thru, or ZA Late Night Pizza. The wait times at this location during its busiest hours can be fairly long, which might indicate that they are a little understaffed for the volume of customers they receive, but conversely, that could also serve as a testament to how much the place is beloved by its loyal fan base, which, I might add, extends across multiple demographics. Don't get the red sauce if you can't handle spicy food, and if you're a vegetarian like I am, you'll be happy to know that their falafel has actually improved considerably in recent years - might be a touch dry, though, so if I were you I'd opt for some extra white or green sauce. This location is in an interesting spot because I never actually park in their lot, but in the lot directly adjacent to theirs beside the Dunkin'. It is significantly easier to get in and out of that one than theirs, which doesn't have its own light on Wantagh Ave, and forces you to combat the relentless deluge of traffic getting off of the Southern State Parkway or coming down from Hempstead Turnpike. Staff is always very friendly; there's almost always a line even at night, though sometimes only one or two people long. There are a couple of small tables available for dining in, although most prefer takeout here.“

“Kyle and mario were very courteous as was everyone else who worked there, but they stood out for going above and beyond. The mac and cheese i first ordered seemed to lack macaroni and was mostly sauce. I half mentioned it and they right away replaced it with another mac and cheese.“

“The food is pretty good and made fresh. Their menu Philly cheese steak sandwich is very good and the portion sizes are decent. The burgers and fries and also pretty tasty. Great location with plenty of parking. Staff are friendly. They have a small seating area so you can eat it. The location is clean and well kept.“

I bought a chopped cheese toasted and French fries it was good. The closest you will get to authentic city chopped cheese like Harlem or Brooklyn. “Plenty of parking at the outdoor mall strip. Clean vibe - courteous staff. They take card or cash. They also have lunch specials available where you can get a platter with a can of soda. We got the chicken rice platter 8/10 and the combo rice platter 9/10. Their lamb is really good and I recommend it. Their white sauce is not the best I have had but decent. Their vegetables were fresh. Overall I would go back and recommend.“
