I recently dined at Peter Clam Bar, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and the inviting aroma of fresh seafood. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant — the kind of place where you can enjoy a great meal with friends or have a quiet dinner by the water.
Every dish was a standout. The clam chowder was rich and flavorful, packed with fresh clams and perfectly balanced seasoning. The grilled lobster tail was tender and buttery, cooked to perfection. I also tried the seafood platter, and every bite — from the shrimp to the scallops — tasted incredibly fresh and expertly prepared.
The service was top-notch, with the staff being friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s rare to find a restaurant that gets everything right — food, service, and atmosphere — but Peter Clam Bar truly delivers on all fronts.

“Excellent eatery on Atlantic Avenue. The owner is super friendly and very courteous. We are offered a free amuse-bouche starter of whipped ricotta on pita and it was fabulous. “Best seafood boil I ever had.I recently tried a seafood boil at a local Cajun-style spot, and overall, it was a really fun and flavorful experience.

I went with a garlic butter Cajun mix at medium spice, and it had a rich, savory flavor with just the right amount of heat. We rolled in after curtain call, still buzzing from the performance, and they seated us warmly despite the late hour. The food was just as good as it would be at prime time—fresh, hot, thoughtfully prepared. They even recommended a nightcap that extended the evening beautifully. I was a little bit skeptical about spending $20 for a slice of pizza but it was worth it. From the pizza crust to the sandwich bread to the shrimp and lobsters and the oxtail all the ingredients taste fresh. looked it, too The server was very nice. I had been sitting, waiting for my order and he held the package out to me waiting until I came over. I like that he didn’t put it down on the counter and walk away which I thought was very nice. My friends and I had an assortment of their speciality slices, philly cheesesteak pinwheel, and garlic knot vodka parm slider.
