“One of the best Italian restaurants in Lynbrook or anywhere else. They use the freshest and highest quality ingredients and prepare the food exquisitely. I ordered takeout tonight for six people in my extended family and served it family style, and everyone was raving about the food. We ordered Scallops Oreganato, Shrimp Stuffed with Crabmeat, Chicken Francese, Zuppe di Clams White Sauces and a few appetizers and it was all superbly prepared. Several of us were from other towns and repeatedly asked me how to find this place so they could visit in the near future.“

“I normally order only mango sticky rice from this restaurant but today I decided to try an actual meal. I was in the mood for some beef so I ordered the beef salad and some tom yam noodle soup with shrimp. Let me tell you The beef salad was so good, it was very refreshing and delicious. I would’ve loved just a little bit of spice in it but otherwise it was a 10 in my opinion. The Tom yam noodle soup with shrimp was so delightful. The broth was so savory and light, the add of the bok choy and enoki mushrooms were so good. My boyfriend got the lychee juice and the general taksin chicken. Both were very good my only critique is that the chicken didn’t come with rice on the side. I’m not sure if it was missing or if it just doesn’t come with it, I think for that meal specifically rice should automatically come with it.
I will definitely order more food from here.“

Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“I picked up food here for the first time and Auntie was so incredibly welcoming. She was happy to let me sample a handful of the dishes they were serving, all of which were delicious.

The oxtail here is just phenomenal. The depth of flavor of the gravy was such a standout. My rice and peas were covered in it and I wish I had more!

The jerk chicken was incredibly tender and the sweet and spicy sauces were a great compliment.

The fresh pine ginger drink is a must have and the homemade coco bread was pillowy soft.

The chef is an absolute pro here when it comes to salinity. The seasoning was spot on for every entree without any lingering saltiness.“

No one likes leaving a restaurant hungry after spending hundreds of dollars. At Dagim, we spent less than we would have at other places and left completely satisfied.“

“We came here on time for the lunch menu (served until 3), but we were given the dinner menu instead. A few of the items that are on both menus are more expensive on the dinner menu, so it gave us the impression they just wanted us to spend more. After asking for the lunch menu they discouraged it then brushed it off, so we used the more expensive menu rather than make a scene. The Caeser salad with chicken was ok, just a little overdressed. The octopus on the specials menu was tender and tasted good. The shrimp scampi over linguini ($8 more on the dinner menu than the lunch menu) was well-prepared. The NY strip au poivre was more medium than the medium rare we asked for, and the steak was under seasoned. We’ve had better experiences here in the past. It was very off-putting that they did not bring us the lunch menu when we asked for it.“

“One of the best Thai spots in the area. The location and interior are warm, fun and authentic. The staff represents the land of smiles with friendly service and good recommendations. My wife and I had the pork buns, fried shrimp rings and the tom yum fried rice with Chinese sausage and crab. I highly recommend all 3 but if you’re in for 1 plate, do the fried rice. “Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

He assigned an attentive waiter (Turon) who took great care of us throughout the meal. Another manager, Amy, also checked on us, was very warm and friendly, and we had a great conversation with her.
