Coffee is outstanding! Picked up a pound of the Brazil BFF beans. Grind at home for espresso and this coffee is DELICIOUS! OUTSTANDING! I am looking forward to trying all of the different origins and roasts East Coast has to offer. Richard is extremely knowledgeable and very informative about coffee and is more than happy to explain anything you have questions about.

The coffee can’t be beat and Richie is amazing! I’ve been a customer for a few months now and won’t be going anywhere else to get my coffee beans. Great variety and selection of freshly roasted beans at a great price!

Not your regular coffee beans from store. I used to order online medium, dark roast. After making few espresso and cappuccino from ECRC my wife and I will never come back to regular store coffee bags. Mild aroma of the arabica with long lasting oils and distinct flavors will get you hooked. The owner is a very nice man, patriot of his country and coffee guru. Come grab a bag.

I have been looking for a local roaster since starting on my coffee journey and today I visited East Coast Roast in nearby Island Park. Richard is amazing. He gave me a tour of the facility and an education as well. Such a friendly guy!. I purchased two types of coffee, one for espresso ("MOORSE CODE ESPRESSO") and one for pour overs and french press ("COSTA RICA - TARRAZU"). I eagerly drove home to taste them. First the pour over. Wow! this is just what I had been looking for, a full body medium roast with a smooth and delicious taste and no bitterness at all. I normally drink pour overs with milk and sugar but this was so good I drank it black so as not to mask any of the full coffee experience. Next I brewed a shot of espresso and made a latte. Again I'm blown away at how good Richard's coffee is. I've found the best source for my coffee beans going forward. What a gem this place is.

East Coast Roast is the best place to go for your coffee. Has a great selection of different rams from around the world. The beans are fresh and have a lot of flavour. Morse Code espresso is my favourite. Richard is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the different beans and process of roasting, and is a pleasure to speak with.

Exceptional coffee!!this is proper coffee. I brew single cups in an aeropress, typically 11g freshly fine-ground beans to 200g 185-190 degree water. pour water, use plunger to seal to brew for 2 minutes. gently swirl, leave for an additional 30 seconds, then slowly press.with this brew technique, all of the 5 flavors i tried are the best coffee i think i've ever had. Rwanda may be my favorite, but they're all excellent. Full of flavor, complexity, zero off-putting bitter or unpleasant tastes.incredible product, very highly recommended.

I've been searching for good coffee beans in long island for a while now. At first i went to starbucks reserve roastery where the beens were literally 42$ for a half pound!!!!! At east coast roast , richard (the owner) greated me very pleasantly and even had the time and patience to explain the different coffee beans and how they are roasted etc. .Not only that , the beans only costed me 14$ for half a pound, and they were infinitely better than the starbucks reserve beans. I really wish that this place was more well known , so more people can get to taste some true, high quality coffee.

I got the Tanzania and Costa Rica beans. These beans are up there with the best, we love making lattes each morning. I highly recommend! Great coffee!

What a difference to start your day with freshly roasted beans! I've tried a few different ones and all are delicious. Richard is incredibly knowledgeable about the different beans and roasting, and is a pleasure to speak with. An added plus is you're buying your beans from a local small business instead of a large corporation. Try his various beans and you'll never go back to buying beans that have been sitting on a shelf for weeks. They're delicious!
