Celebrating my Nieces quincinera! 😍 not only is it a lovely atmosphere inside and out, the Avocado crostini, prosciutto & Pear (grab from my siblings plate 😁), and decaf cappuccino with sugar free hazelnut flavor and almond milk were delicious! 😋

The staff, food, coffee and atmosphere were top notch! My nieces Quincinera would not have been the same if it was anywhere else. Tons of photo ops in this cute location. The staff were all super friendly and made the night even more special. Will return over and over!!

The place is beautiful. I ordered a large Matcha with almond milk, my boyfriend ordered small Chai with whole milk. I am vegan and he’s allergic to nuts. They switched the milks accidentally in our drinks, he could’ve died. Thank God I double checked when the girl brought out our drinks. So they remade them, but then they switched the sizes of our drinks. Before we left, I just told the girl about the size mix up. I was very kind and chill, and I wasn’t attacking her , But she was defensive and seemed mad at me. This place would be five stars if the staff was more friendly and considerate.

The Matchas we got were disgusting and bitter, the cashier didn’t even suggest if we wanted it sweetened or not. At the bottom it was clumpy and tasted nasty all I could taste was clumpy matcha powder and bitter water. They also don’t have all those flavored lattes that you see online, none of them were on the in person menu. I don’t know if it’s just this location but it sucks for drinks, and if you want to study the music is crazy loud.

We traveled about 35 to 40 minutes to experience East Rock Coffee I was quite excited after seeing a post on Instagram. It was quite underwhelming . Upon entering the cafe there was a foul smell which more than likely came from the homeless man sleeping on the couch and his bags. When we went to order we were told there were no eggs so most sandwiches were unavailable. Upon my son picking the sandwich with the prosciutto we were told there was none he then asked for bacon and also settled for no eggs . I myself settled for a croissant filled with raspberry but that was not crispy or flaky at all. I asked why no one had gone to purchase eggs if they had none so early in the day the employee said since they opened the cafe in the other location they were slacking at this one . . She smiled and apologized . As far as the look of the cafe it was very cute and pretty but that’s where it ended. Before leaving the employee bought over a couple of Croissants she said they were on the house. The girls were sweet not their fault the owner is not keeping up with the needs of the cafe .

Visited the Garden City location. What a pretty restaurant! Food and drinks were both good. We both enjoyed our choices and plan to return. Only drawback was our entrees came out at different times. There was about a 5 minute wait for the second entree to be served. I’d love it if Diet Coke could be added to the beverages offered. Overall, a positive experience, and I’m looking forward to returning to try more things. Shout out to the bartender for making a killer lavender Hugo spritz

We stopped by this coffee shop after my son’s soccer game since it was in the area. We were so excited to try it, the cappuccinos were made fairly quickly but our egg sandwich took 30 minutes to come out. There is one person making the beverages and being the cashier. At one point there was a line and one lady who was there with a baby didn’t leave with her coffee until after us getting our food. Being with 2 small kids it is bond to happen that children get up and move around, to the 2 nasty karens that were by the front door and called our kids annoying - I hope your life is not as miserable as you look. If clearly adults like yourself have no patience what do you expect from children who were sitting for over 30 minutes. No one notice how disrespectful they were to us because the place is short staffed.

I recently visited East Rock Coffee and was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The decor of the shop was stunning, with an elegant but comfy and inviting atmosphere that made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee.

I highly recommend trying the Fig jam and pear crostini - it was absolutely delicious and a must-try on the menu. The combination of flavors was unique and truly delectable. I also appreciated the attention to detail in the presentation of the dish, which added to the overall dining experience.

Overall, I had a fantastic time at East Rock Coffee and will definitely be returning in the future. The combination of friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food make it a standout destination in the area. I highly recommend stopping by for a visit!

I went this morning and got an iced coffee with skim milk and sugar free caramel- let me tell you something, it was delicious. So good. Normally I make my coffee at home because it’s affordable but I spent my 6$ well on a coffee. The espresso was delicious and the girls who work the counter will make the coffee however you’d like. They are extremely polite and they offer tons of great options for warm lattes and have special drinks. Super great, It was quiet when I went so I definitely would read / study there. *** I also have allergy’s!!*** im allergic to peanuts, tree nuts and soy- the girl let me see the syrups to make sure I wasn’t allergic to them and it wasn’t uncomfortable or awkward (which I know my people with allergies know that it can be awkward sometimes) normally I don’t review the first time but this morning was a really great experience. Looking forward to being other people to try.

Dietary restrictions: Allergy friendly :)) however if you have celiac I didn’t see any gf options- but they are the type of business that if you asked them too they would definitely incorporate them on the menu.
