I had such high hopes for this gingerbread house. I mean, come on—it’s Christmas Eve, the vibes are immaculate, I’ve got my playlist of Mariah Carey on repeat, and I’m ready to channel my inner architectural genius. We decided to have a gingerbread house party, inviting children to make gingerbread houses.
We purchased these gingerbread kits, and decided to put the houses together before the children got here. It’s a good thing we did. The frosting is horrible. It will not stick the houses together. We had to make frosting of our own!

My husband, son & I tried CakeBites Peanut Butter Chocolate Crunch flavor. We opened the package & it smelled like stink bugs. Then we tasted them & the cake was so dry. We threw the box away.
