Unfortunately, this wasn’t a good experience. The food was bad, the bread was soggy and very oily, and the dishes were dirty. On top of that, the waitress had a rude, nasty attitude that made the visit uncomfortable. I felt sick after eating here and would not recommend this place.

This place is an absolute joke. Based off the price you would think there would be some kind of quality when it came to the food. Spent 71 dollars for two orders of pancakes and two orders of chicken fingers with fries and this is what they give you. This is me giving them a second chance to begin with. Do your self a favor, go anywhere else but here.

One of the few truly solid diners left on the Island. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is consistently done to the nines. We especially love going during Christmas — it’s heavily decorated, festive, and the kids absolutely love it.

So I went here on a rainy Saturday after my nephew's soccer match and I wasn't expecting much, I was just meeting my family at the diner. I was greeted warmly, our server was so attentive, friendly, got everything right. My Dad spilled his coffee and a bus boy was so tight there and cleaned up quickly and went out of his way to make sure the table was good. On my way out I told the host of how Amazing the customer service is in this place and she gave me a big hug and all of my family members and cookie. This place gave us sunshine on a rainy Saturday. We will most definitely be back!🤗
The food was okay, the meat came out medium despite having it come well done, cheese on fries weren't properly melted

It was very busy and we were seated right under the AC which was not comfortable. They turned it off and 10 min later it was back on. I was told that the owners are new, it definitely didnt have the same atmosphere i had when I went there in the past

The oconee is a an average diner. It's not bad but it's not phenomenal either. The atmosphere was nice, it was very decorated for the holidays which was great. Everything was clean too. The service was great, our waiter was phenomenal, he was very kind and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was average. It was basically what you can expect from a classic diner. It wasn't bad at all, just average. I got the grill wrap, it was a little bland but still good. The prices were just a smidge high for a diner but nothing too bad. I did really appreciate the free cookie after dinner, especially since you don't find many places that do things like that anymore. All the desserts I saw in cases also looked good. Overall if I was in the area and needed to eat I would go here again.
