We had our wedding welcome dinner here and it was a wonderful venue! It could accommodate 80 people comfortably and the food was delicious! Nikita met with us to select our food options and floor plan layout. They provided tables, linens and some table decor. She and her team answered many of our questions and were very helpful!Dietary restrictions: They were accommodating of vegan, gluten free and nut allergies.Parking: Parking garage is directly over the restaurant.

The restaurant was closed, yet offered reservations on a busy parents weekend in Ithaca. No information on the restaurant not being open was shown, and multiple guests with reservations wound up outside and unable to get tables anywhere else at such a short notice at a busy time.

DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION! THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!!! Open Table will allow you to make and confirm a reservation but you will arrive to discover it isn't open.

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!!! Booked this reservation on open table Came to Ithaca for parents weekend which happens to be very busy and tough to get in restaurants Was surprised to see such availability and now I know why We arrived only to find it closed Absolutely ridiculous!!! Had to find somewhere else which was difficult Very poor business practice in my opinion

Coltivare has been closed since May 26, 2023, but I didn't know that until I showed up for my reservation on July 2, 2023 because I received a confirmation for my reservation from open table on July 1, 2023. Please fix the open table app!

First time coming here and definitely will be back! Food was great, and Makenzie was a fantastic server. Everything came out fast, and she was extremely attentive to anything we needed.

CLOWNS!!!! Managed by monkeys. Canceled reservations we had for a family visiting 3 hours before. Claimed kitchen got sick. ALL OF KITCHEN!!! Why not close down. Turn off the lights and empty the place. Replace yourselves with circus.

The bread, which you have to order, was an oily crouton stick. It lacked flavor, and was cut so thick it was hard to bite through. My son and I each ordered the short rib, my wife ordered the pasta with meatballs, and my in-laws each ordered the catch of the week. The piece of short rib I received was 50% fat, not what you expect when you are paying $35 for a dish. My sons was maybe 2% fat. The pasta was over cooked and mushy, and the meatballs, while being well seasoned, were overcooked and dry. The catch of the week was trout, and done well, but the accompanying sides were all undercooked. For dessert, we had the panna cotta, which was set solid into almost a cheese like consistency. We have eaten here many times before, but after this disappointing meal, we will probably not return. The menu is limited, 5 larger plates, 3 pastas and a few salads. You would think each dish would be a home run. Unfortunately, none of them stood out and made this Mothers Day meal one to remember.

I would definitely give a 0 if I could. We arrived around 6 pm, no one was in the restaurant. We politely asked if anybody’s there, and got yelled at by someone in the kitchen. With all respect, this kind of place should just be closed. Do not bother replying, we won’t accept any apologies. We sincerely recommend that no one else be offended by this place in the future.

We went for Ithaca College graduation day and were shocked to find the prices were 2 1/2 times the normal price and the food was not exceptional considering what we paid. Paid over $350 for family style appetizer, 4 dinner salads, 3 pasta meals and 1 chicken meal. Ridiculous.

Super disappointing and WAY WAY overpriced! Like mediocre prepared banquet food—the supposedly farm to table cuisine was non-existent (eg., pre-chopped romaine out of a plastic bag for the Caesar salad). There's a contagion of forcing out fixed price meals for high prices and terrible service in Ithaca to meet the demands of Cornell graduation and it's a shame. Spent $440 on dinner for 4 with one $40 bottle of Prosecco and a single beer. Feel extremely cheated with terrible food and service.

We had a fabulous experience on May 21. Attentive server and great food. The prix fixe was a little pricey but understandable as it was graduation weekend. The restaurant made all necessary changes from the comments on the night before.

We were highly disappointed with our graduation dinner. The restaurant had a limited menu and was price gouging customers who wanted to celebrate their graduates. We paid over $350 for 4 meals which included 3 pasta meals and 1 chicken meal. The pasta was over cooked and the chicken piece was small and half bone. We could have had a better dinner at a chain restaurant for less than $100.

Very upset when we arrived for graduation dinner to find only option is a price fixed very expensive menu with limited options to select from. Disappointing selection. When I made reservations it was not a price fix. Then found out they were out of 1 of only 2 apps for the night. How can that be? When the decision was just made 3 days prior abt changing the menu. I don't usually write reviews but I was incredibly disappointed. Even the water was served warm. My large party did not see much they were interested in ordering and to pay $70 to 75 for food you didn't want? We actually ended up leaving the restaurant. No one in the building reportedly had access to the thermostat either as the manager had recently resigned...just seemed so disorganized and unprepared. That said, the hostess and servers were very nice and tried to be accommodating and making us comfortable.
