Stopped in for the first time today. Great food, friendly waitress. Small town diner feel in a big city. We will definitely go back.

Great food. The owners should consider compensating non-wait staff with MIT living wages of $24.64 before tip out and build positive community through their wages instead of impoverishing the community.Vegetarian options: Great for large groups and children!Busses welcomed!

I've heard about the Lincoln Street Diner from past family members and people from Ithaca. This was my first and not last time dining. The atmosphere is very light, warm and welcoming. It was nice to walk in the door and feel like I stepped back in time. Everyone worked together like a well oiled machine. They wanted you to be there and were ready to serve you. I was asked if I wanted to sit at the counter. Part of the ambiance was listening to the conversations of others. I orderd coffee, and a Philly cheese omelet with homefries and toast. I was delighted to find they offered sourdough bread. The coffee was very good and my food was delicious, made with love and care. The people serving were very kind and attentive. They knew incoming people's orders before they walked in. I left feeling very satisfied and comfortablely full.

O.k. One of the last true neiborhood diners left in Ithaca! The diner is small, so your dining experience may be some what intimate, depending on your time of arrival. Busiest periods Fri, Sat, mornings between 9-11. You never know, you may enter the diner as strangers and leave having made some new friends! Certainly bring your appetite, I recommend the Ziffy with the Cajun graveyParking: The Lincoln street diner is a neighborhood diner and the neighborhood happens to be fall. Speak.

I loved this little Diner. The 1st time I went, I was a stranger. The 2nd, I was a regular. My coffee with brown sugar and cream were at the table before I was. My order of bacon, eggs, and hash browns were cooked perfectly. They made me feel at home. I was so sad they weren't open on Sunday, because i would have gladly gone a 4th time. There are lots of options in Ithaca, This was my favorite.

Great experience. Since we were a party of 2 we were asked to sit at the counter as the tables available were to accommodate larger parties which we understood. The staff was kind and we even chatted when there was no crowd. Cozy, delicious, and cheap. I hope to eat here again soon.

The office had been looking for a Thanksgiving Sandwich for staff and we were finding it hard to come by. Lincoln St was recommended to us and we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious! They accommodated us with 16 amazing meals! The atmosphere was as friendly and fun as you expect a mom and pop place to be. Therefore, I felt at home!! Thank you all for your amazing help!!

Real small town diner with great, cheap breakfast and lunch food. The server was fast and friendly. I will be back. The philly omelet with home potatoes, toast and coffee was great. And the mini apple crumble pie to go was very good later that same night.

Best diner in Ithaca, by a mile. Food is always amazing, the staff is awesome, especially the server. She handles the whole place with a smile, even when the line is out the door. She is a the best server I have ever witnessed. Best French Toast I've ever had.
