So I went there before I looked at the review of this place. When I see people say it's expensive or has bad hygiene, I think the opposite. Because when I was there they had clean tables and chairs. The place felt very traditional with statues and designs all over the walls. When people said it was expensive I felt it was cheaper because I live in New York City and one platter of sushi is actually around $20 and they don't even serve a lot. I went for a late lunch about 3pm and got immediate friendly service in a relatively quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Food was outstanding: steamed edamame, sashimi mackerel (my favorite raw fish), and cumin beef, plus hot tea. I made an absolute pig of myself for a little over $30 including tip. Great food and an excellent bargain. I live nearby, so they're going to see more of me. If you like robust flavor in your seafood, try the mackerel!
