A foot long sub, 99 cent drink and a cookie was $25. That is all that needs to be said here. The sandwich was good, but no prices anywhere and it’s an upcharge of almost $3 for Cheese. There are plenty of other better and more cost friendly options in Ithaca. I probably will only be back for the cookie if it is good.

sooooo yummyyyyyyyy, their meats are so yummy, its not regular packaged lunch meat which is hard to find these days. My girlfriend and I got two different sandwiches and the ciabatta bread and the french bread were so soft and perfect texture for a sandwich.

These are some serious sandwiches! We tried hot, cold, and the pizza subs. The photos really don't do justice. Excellent quality! The cheese bread sticks were average, but the marinara was very intense and makes me wish for the recipe. Skip the potato tots. Average quality and, frankly, the sandwiches are more than enough even for a big appetite. Speaking of... these are HUGE. I got the largest size the first time and my husband barely finished his. Asked for the one that was half that size when I went back. So many delicious combinations possible! Worth visiting multiple times.

The Shortstop is a staple of the area - In my opinion, there is nothing particularly outstanding about the deli. The sandwiches are good, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is kinda like a gas station. The food is a bit OPParking: Parking out front off streetWheelchair accessibility: Single floor no stairs to access the deli

A lot of the people there hide there to do drugs. But the inside of the place is nice. They can be understanding some of the the time.Wheelchair accessibility: Where the front door is there is level out sidewalk. To the door

Great sandwiches, excellent service! My hero lasted two days and it was just a double! My wife loved her salad too

It's 5 stars because it's a faithful bearer of Bob's Hot Truck. The PMP, WGC, and the whole collection is still just as good as I remember from 2am on west campus 30 years ago. Other than the legacy of hot truck (with a few updates), the rest of the Shortstop is just a convenience store. Now if only it was available at 2am still.

Stopped here for lunch on a day trip to Ithaca. We walk in and the ordering system is awful and confusing. There are sheets that you take and circle what you want. Literally nothing is explained on the sheet and the workers will stare at you while you try to figure out what you need to do. I asked about an item that was shown on the menu but not on the ordering card the worker mumbled that it was on the register but not the card. I had to again specifically ask. “ ok but can I still order it” guy rolls his eyes and says yes. Kid with dreads making the sandwiches never once spoke a single word to any white customers that came in and out. A black gentleman came in shortly after us and he was chatting away giving him a great experience. It was obvious they didn’t know each other. Just received the royal treatment for some reason. The place is dirty. Looks like it hasnt been dusted in years. If you can figure out how to order and your skin tone matches the person serving you it might be an ok experience. If not prepare to be treated like you’re a burden to them. The one guy who actually did speak mumbled so bad I couldn’t even make out the three sentences he said when he handed me my sub.

Terrible, Supervisor made sub wrong 2 times. Bad attitude, rude. Knew sub was wrong gave it me anyway. Argued with me about remaking it , and made wrong again. Low quality ingredients and taste, high prices ($20) for a sub. I was trying to support local business. Do yourself a favor and support another establishment. Unfortunately Supervisor obviously doesn't care about service and quality.

The food was so good that I didn’t have time to take a picture of what I ate . You basically build your own sub. I had the Italian mix deli meats with French bread . All the veggies you can fit and Italian dressing .

I love the food. It tastes great. Vendors are friendly. I do wish they would bring back the tables and chairs. It would be a great place to sit and eat
