Went there with my dad yesterday ordered a lomo saltiado and guatita to drink a water and lemonade. Drinks came out after the food had arrived and was only giving one eating utensils. The lomo saltiado was okay the guatita on the other hand was not the best especially for that price. I ask for the check and see that I was being charged a gratuity fee mind you I always check in the menu if it says that I will be charged a gratuity fee. Called a lady over and she says that they charge that fee if the check is over 30$ so I go on to tell her that they should inform verbally or in writing that there will be a fee added tells me she doesn’t know and called over the “manager”, rudest lady I have ever met first comes over with an attitude and seems annoyed I ask her why I’m being charged a gratuity fee if I was not told before she goes oh we charge that fee if the check is over $20 at this point I’m confused because the other lady is telling me something completely different than what she is currently telling me so I call bs and then she starts getting flustered and starts getting mad ( her eyes are bulging out her head ). It’s not about me not being able to pay the gratuity fee it’s about them not giving the best service and not disclosing that there will be a gratuity fee added, and when questioned they start with bs Overall wouldn’t come back, the food there is not worth the hassle with these lady’s could get something better at another place

Terrible service today I went to lunch I ordered my food it took 40 minutes I ordered a leg soup and they brought me that damaged meat that even gave me stomach pain I will never go back there again

Good food, fresh and prepared instantly, they include the tip in the bill, many places have already done it before, many complain about that detail but I think it is something that in New York they are already used to, the relationship with tips for food and the rest is always very good service. I go with my family.

I have been looking for an Ecuadorian restaurant that served Chaulafan for quite some time since the one on Atlantic and Rockaway closed down during the Pandemic.I typically get Chaulafan with chicken and shrimp without the pork and beef. Everything else remains the same. The food is seasoned well, great customer service, and the evening manager or owner is always hospitable with warm welcomes.I had a business meeting there once and my friends were very pleased with the food flavors, portion size, and they were comfortable with the price.The restaurant may appear a bit tight with space but that all depends on your comfort zone. I loved the music, the vibe from others, and the cultural ambience.Gracias ??
Parking: After paid parking timeframe, parking is free and depending on the day parking is better.
