I used to love Abdullah Sweets — especially for their warm roshgolla. Also had their breakfast once with paratha, beef nihari, egg, and vegetables. But my recent experience was beyond disappointing. I picked up a takeout order of beef tehari, and to my utter shock, the food was totally ROTTEN. The smell was disgusting - clearly old and poorly handled. The restaurant itself had a terrible odor when I walked in, and their milk tea and ginger tea have always been among the worst I’ve tried. The woman who serves here is also super rude & ill- mannered.
I had recommended this place to so many of my friends for their sweets, and now I deeply regret it. I’ve never left a bad review for a Bangladeshi restaurant before because I genuinely want them to succeed. But serving SPOILED FOODS is not just careless — it’s dangerous, dishonest and deceiving. I’ll probably never return here!

This was one of the worst catering experiences I’ve ever had. I placed an order with Swedes and was clearly told to pick it up at 2 PM. I showed up right on time, only to be told the food was coming from another location and I needed to wait another 40 minutes. Fine. I came back an hour later—still not ready. Then they told me to wait another 30 minutes.
At that point, I had no choice but to leave. I was on a tight schedule and had to drive a long way. This kind of disorganization is completely unacceptable. There was zero communication, no apology, no sense of urgency. Just a complete waste of my time. I will not be ordering from here again.

Rude. Even with No customer and 4 staff in they can’t be helpful or welcoming you or answering simple questions without barking

All those years living in New York City , visiting Jackson heights I have never stepped foot inside this store ! What a shame as a Bangladeshi ..! The food, the sweets, the customer service was just too good.Tonight I took my coworkers to Jackson heights for to try some Bangladeshi food. It was too cold to continue but we did tried some desserts here & I gotta say it was excellent. Even my American friends loved the sweets.Thank you so much for the warm welcome & excellent food. We will be definitely coming soon after the weather gets better.

I bought some sweets from here and I could tell they were a couple days old. It was disgusting and way too overpriced I don’t recommend buying sweets from this restaurant.
The food is the worst I’ve ever had. I can’t comprehend how this store is still in business. The floors aren’t clean, the tables have stains, and they serve old food. These are just my quick observations! They were serving substandard food that wasn’t fresh at all. I will never go there again, and I don’t recommend this shop; it’s a horrible place.
