I’m a chef in NYC and I love this spot. Delicious authentic Indian cuisine! Incredible depth of flavor. I come here a few times a month!

I was so impressed by this restaurant! The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. There were tons of vegetarian and vegan options which is exactly what I was looking for. I am definitely coming back to this super cute place. I totally recommend!

Angel is amazing. We showed up with 7 people for a 5-person reservation and kept adding to our order, and they were so kind and accommodating the whole time.

The food came out fast and everything was excellent — especially the chicken tikka, samosa chaat, and dal makhani. Perfect level of spice and so flavorful. Service and food were both outstanding. I’ll definitely be back.

We ordered Paneer Tikka and Naan. The Paneer were 3 square slabs with hardly any seasoning and half cooked. There weren't any onions or peppers grilled with it. Although the quality of the paneer itself was very good, the preparation was below standard for such a standard affair.

We've been here twice and every single thing we've tried has been excellent. Normally, I just ask for Vindaloo or Rogan Josh, but here, we've ordered everything but those two. Ive not found one dish yet that I didnt like. Its all amazing. Ig.you genuinely like Indian food (not just tikka masala or butter chicken), then give this place a try, you will be blown away. Everything is incredible.

Decent food. Spice levels are low. Good for American taste, not the best for indian food

Food was good, new location is much nicer but I feel like the portions were small... So not great for groups. And they started kicking us out after just 1hr and we were 6 people!!!!!

I was genuinely excited to visit this restaurant after hearing so many good things about it. I even drove an hour to get there. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the moment I walked in.

The waiter greeted us with an unexpectedly rude tone and manner. I had brought my mom with me and kindly requested to be seated at a booth, but the waiter repeatedly denied the request despite many empty seats. His attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, and when I asked to speak with a manager, he refused.

It was disheartening—and frankly shocking—to feel so unwelcome, especially from someone of a similar background. I ultimately walked out feeling heartbroken that such treatment could occur when a simple, reasonable request was made.

I hope the restaurant addresses this issue, as no guest should ever be made to feel this way.

Angel restaurant was highly recommended and certainly lives up to the hype. We ( 4) had marvellous food starting with pani puri- so crispy and delicious. Then Dal Makhni ( my favourite) , lamb Madras, Chole Batura, delicious Paneer tikka Masala, lâcha paratha, garlic Naan and a wonderfully unique presentation of Chicken Dum Biryani. Of course we ordered too much for 4 but were helpfully supplied with containers to bring excess home . Staff were so helpful and attentive. Must go !!
