In search of authentic mexican tamales, I ended up driving 45 minutes from home. It was worth it. The chicken tamales and rajas had great flavor. As usual, like almost all tamales, the ratio of meat to masa is off. But I'm starting to think that that's just the way tamales are made, more masa (dough) than whatever filling you choose.

I don’t get the hype. Food was below average and service was not good at all.
The breakfast and everything they sell is very delicious but the service through Uber is bad on 3 occasions they sent me what they wanted and not what was requested, they do not notify when they run out of what is requested, they ask for a tamale chicken and they send pork and I can't eat pork... when you ask for tamales and empanadas they only send tamales and don't let them know that they ran out of empanadas, those events have happened when Mrs. Fela was traveling, I don't know if it's because when She's not there, they don't give good service or maybe they have to improve their service when it's through Uber. The truth is, my son and I don't want to order through Uber anymore, maybe I just buy when I'm there, which is really very rare. We passed by there, but it is recommended that you be more careful when providing the service through Uber so that you do not lose customers.

The chaufa is on point. Taste like the one from a peruvian stand 100% Dame goes for the creams.I order mostrito today. Everything was good but the pollo broster was salty. I will assume it was just a bad batter day I will try it again next time and see if the salty chicken is fine better but overall the place and the rations are well worth the money.Only wished my chicken wasn't salty cause I was hungry ?
Loved it!!! Bread with Chicharron, ceviche and its Good Tamal!!! the next time they realize to place their sweet potato. I am Colombian but my Peruvian husband both watched the Vice documentary on Youtube and I told him to go buy one and we really loved it. We only lacked the picarones and obviously try their lunch. VERY RICH ?

I ain't gon lie I ain't bought from here due to the fact that it's under the train & in a busy area, but the food always smells (and looks) SCRUMPTIOUS. The prices aren't high, & the people are nice, & considering I always see customers, It oughta be good eats. Open every day from 11am to 9pm i think. It's a whole lotta people that sell good & services around this place too.
I LIKE THIS CART, THE PERUVIAN FOOD IT ALSO SELLS, ESPECIALLY THE TAMALES ON SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS, THANK YOU DOÑA FELA, I RECOMMEND IT, IT'S GOOD
