Service is way too slow. I ordered a flatbread special on a Monday night and waited for an hour for it. First, I was told 20 minutes, then another 10 mins and then finally food showed up after an hour. I attest to the fact that your food is awesome but you must cut your wait time.

Their pasteries are very nice, BUT I was very surprised to find out their LUNCH options of the spicy buttermilk chicken sandwich AND the Farine burger are Delicious! One of the best I've had! Definitely worth going out of your way to try their food!

Really loved this place but they've been closed for a month or so. No updates on their social media. No sign on the door. The fixtures are gone and the restaurant is now a storage area for the grocery store next door. Whatever's going on, leaving your loyal customers hanging is really bad. (PS this doesn't seem to be a Covid-related closing because their Glen Oaks location seems to be doing just fine!)

Big scam. Over priced. Really bad customer service. The burger we ordered it's too sweet. Chicken wing was worst. We ordered the spicy one and it came so sweet. And when we asked the guy he said it's your fault you ordered that. And when we asked we wanted to speak with the owner he said I am the owner but he's not a owner. Avoid at any cost.Very bad.

Awesome burgers and sandwiches!! Was pleasantly surprised how great my spicy Buttermilk chicken sandwich was. My food was lukewarm by the time I got it home but it was still delicious!! Can you believe that? The flavors worked so well -- fresh housemade pickles and slaw that balanced out the honey Sriracha sauce (which was generous but not overwhelming sweet or spicy). And the crunch on the chicken was still there, an hour later!! I'm just sad that there were no available tables so I could enjoy it right away -- probably would be even more awesome. Lesson learned. Will just eat at a bus stop bench. ???? Also friend tried their Swiss and shroom burger and loved it. Both had a nice thick sesame bun and you can't complain about the sizes. Both were hefty -- not like fast food flattened sandwiches -- and I couldn't finish my sandwich. Totally worth the cost. And you can take your friends that only eat halal there. (Especially those that have been disappointed by MUNCH in forest hills.) It was worth the trek across Queens for Farine. Was looking for pastries but they were limited and I heard good things about their sandwiches. Fair warning though -- they make it fresh to order - wait is 25-30 minutes. Went this afternoon, and they are short staffed. Just one hardworking lady at register to take orders. Tried calling but no one picked up. They do have online ordering system. Will try that next time.

This is somewhere between a 3 and a 4 for me, but rounding up because you just can't get beef bacon in most places. I ordered takeout from here for lunch one day. I got the fire in the hole burger, adding beef bacon, and the spicy fried chicken sandwich. Neither sandwich was spicy and they were both a little too greasy and saucy for my liking. But I did think the flavor was there. Part of it could have been the 15 minute delay between ordering, driving back, parking and unpacking everything so would definitely want to try more items when they were fresh out of the kitchen.

I love this place. the food is amazing. This is probably the best burger I ever had in all of Queens and on top of that it's all halal. You also cannot leave this place without trying their gulab jamun cheesecake.

Safe to say Farine's is known for their spicy buttermilk sandwich and golab jamun cheesecake but do yourself a favor and get their Napoleon!!!!!! Absolutely the BEST naploean eveeeer!! It's not too sweet and always so so fresh, like they literally use the freshest berries. Soooooooooooo good. Already drooling from thinking about the Napoleon i just had before writing this review.

Have been ordering here for Iftaar pick up at least once a week. Food: Every halal zabiha eaters dream. This place is easily my favorite restaurant in the world. Their chicken and waffles is amazing. Highly recommend their elotes, spicy chicken sandwich, southern fried chicken sandwich, Farine burger, and THEIR BREAD. Their bread is so soft, and buttery, and glorious. Service: best service in the city. Not every day you get to have a sit down, gourmet meal by Chef Micheal. Parking: Fairly easy to find. Also easy to navigate from Manhattan if you're taking the subway. To top it off: go to the amazing restaurants in Jackson Heights for Kashmiri chai.

I tried their spicy buttermilk chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Even after a hr, the chicken was still crispy. It was way too spicy for me so I only had a bite but it was amazing. Also the fries were delicious. Lil pricy at $16 each in Jackson Heights but they use quality ingredients. Prob the best chicken sandwich I've ever had from that one bite. It was just perfect.. and it's a big piece of chicken. Chicken and waffles seemed like a good choice. Waffles were a bit too soft but again 1 hr travel time... with the syrup and butter.. omg it was just so good. I didn't care for the hot honey. Fried chicken was slightly dry, but again 1 hr...L loved everything .... Good food, quality ingredients especially with the difficult times we're having, it's shocking to receive such great food and service. Thank you so much.

Good god.... this is by far the BEST chicken and waffles I've ever had in my life. This is the true definition of food making you happy lol. I asked them to make the chicken spicy and it was just sooo good. I was craving this since last night and was kind of scared to order from anywhere but I'm glad I took a chance. When life goes back to normal, I can't wait to go to your cafe and taste your other food which I'm sure is just as amazing! Thanks!

I'm writing this review after being at Farine at least 5 or more times for lunch. Every time I go there I'm hoping they have improved their service because it has been truly disappointing (every time). Food is amazing but unfortunately doesn't match with the quality of the service. Not overreacting, just the truth. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're gonna eat there, be patient because service (waiters and waitresses) are all over the place. All of the staff are disorganized (including the ones behind the coffee bar/bakery). Unfortunately. I insist, the food is worthy of a good review but just the thought of going back into the place kills my nerves. They are nice people it seems they haven't had proper training. Hopefully this will help. I want them to be better. This could be a lformidable place in Jackson Heights but for now, I wouldn't recommend it.

Such an incredible addition to our hood.

I couldn't wait to go here as soon as I saw that there was another bakery/cafe opening in the Jackson heights neighborhood. I moved around here 3 years ago and I'm still discovering places to eat. I definitely recommend the Napoleon, it's the best I've tried. It's sweet but not too sweet, just the right amount. And it's large slices at a good price point. I also brought my partner here as I wanted to try their brunch. I got the spicy buttermilk chicken sandwich and he got the Farine omelette. Both were delicious as we did share them. Farine is a must go!

Had a great time here with my friend for brunch (before covid) and will def be coming back. Came here after reading some fairly positive reviews and of course, I'm always on the look out for new brunch places. Place was open, clean, friendly, and the food was good. You'll find Farine on the street corner of Jackson Heights -- prime real estate. The place is fairly large and open with the usual beautiful glass cases filled with baked goods. The staff was friendly upon arrival and our entire stay. We took a seat by the East facing windows under a television. Whatever was playing on the television was incredibly loud; we asked if they could turn it down, which they did immediately. A few minutes later, a manger swung by to ask if we'd prefer to sit somewhere else considering the intensity of the television (or maybe it was just a regular speaker now that I'm thinking about it), we declined since it was a fine volume after they had turned it down. The food came out without too much delay and it was all great. There was this funny moment when I asked what type of syrup they use for the chicken and waffles. This syrup tasted more tangy than sweet, which got me curious. In a thick accent, our server said... Aunt Jermima. We all laughed. Here I thought it was something fancy, which just goes to show you that sometimes the best stuff isn't the fanciest. I loved coming here to eat and had a great time. It should also be noted that at the start of all this covid, Farine did some really great neighborhood outreach in providing meals for those that needed it. They're great and I can't wait to go back.
