15% service fee is crazy
I found a couple of hairs in my chicken biryani this evening. I showed them the issue, but they didn't take it seriously.

Food is good but it’s a little hectic inside as usual with bangali restaurants. Halim and porota are good. Also their vorta and curries are really tasty as well.
It's a clean, family-friendly restaurant . The food is really good. The beef biriani is excellent.
It's very budget friendly. It's always busy. And the staff is very friendly.
I live in CT, and every time we go to the airport, we go to this place.

Super impressed after our maiden visit. Satisfies a craving if you are from Bengal - both east (Bangladesh) and west (West Bengal, India).
We went as a family, and found the family seating area to be spartan yet welcoming. There wasn’t a menu - walk over to the counter and pick what you want to order.
The roomali rotis are a must have. Aloo bhaja, dal were decent. Beef bhuna, mutton biryani, malai kebabs were all flavorful and freshly prepared - the high turnover rate guarantees nothing is a “left over” offering.
The grocery store attached to the restaurant makes it a dinner and grocery trip, covering both with one parking. Parking can get a little involved and stressful - was not able to find a good parking lot nearby.
Happy to return again.

Disappointed with the very poor customer service from the order taker at this restaurant. They need more education on how to treat customers well. Not once is it.

Since they added mandatory 15% gratuities, the servers do not care about customers like before. Price is usually higher than other similar Bengali restaurants. But no complaints about food. Their food is the best Bengali food in town

Not sure about the negative reviews. Of course, at times some items may not taste that good, however, this restaurant got some amazing and delicious dishes. Go for anything beef, they are amazing. Tehari/biriyani is good too. Snacks are great. But the beef dishes with naan or rice, crazy good. Also, try the Shorisha Elish(Hilsha), underrated.

very Bad experience with counter person (girl) i ordered multiple items she gave me one packet, at home i saw she did not give me one of my orders, called cheating. She made me waited a hell long whereas others come and go, other employee noticed that and said sorry but that one was just giving me bad look, i didn’t know why?! only some selected items are good rest cant eat even.

Best Singara & Samosa. I’ve trying all the bengali restaurants but this one feels like home. And cheaper than most of the places too
