DO NOT CATER FROM THIS PLACE!!!! they use old food and expect you not to notice, the biryani we ordered smelled like an ally way dumpster(I’m not exaggerating) the beef korma had paya in it! and the mixed kebab grill had old meat in it!! It’s like everything they didn’t sell the night before they just dumped into trays and gave it to us!!

Ordered a take out goat curry. Half of it was just big bones. No meat at all...was all grease and fat! Few years ago this was a good place to eat and for take outs. Except for kababs... .every dish is a disaster now!!

Went for breakfast by myself and had goat paya and garlic naan. It was a great breakfast. Paya is more expensive than other items, but it was worth it. Also, had lamb kababs to go. They make good lamb kabab, which is not available at Kababish or other restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is typical of a deshi restaurant in JH... have your expectations low, you won't be disappointed. I go there of food (most of the time to carry out) and not for the ambiance.

Ngl this was top G and still is till this day, been coming here since the kabab king in Hicksville shut down; 2016 I think I remember, they had amazing indo-chinese food, but got rid of it during Covid time, then next was the haleem, it doesn’t look or taste the same as it was before like years ago as of now but tandoori fish, pulao, seekh kababs, and naan are still OG to this day. Just wish the old times came back :)

I’ve been a loyal customer of Kabab King for years, but I’m disappointed to see the decline in food quality lately, especially with the biryani and kababs. These used to be the best items on the menu, but recently, they’ve been lacking the same flavor and freshness. I’ve even raised these concerns with the owner and some of the day staff, who just pass it off to the evening crew, but sadly, there hasn’t been any improvement. Kabab King, please pick up your quality before it’s too late! It’s disheartening to see one of my favorite places going downhill.

Aside from everything elze the food here is great. They have a wide variety on their menu ranging from bengali to Indian all the way to Saudi and such. The prices are ok and well affordable so I would go quantity over quality since they are all pretty much the same food you would expect from a restaurant in similar structure. It is a small restaurant which sits in the corner of diversity plaza on 73rd st and 37th place with big lettering so its hard to miss. Location wise is not a good fit though they do get a lot of customers and business. Very crowded oftentimes and if you want to dine in rather then takeout you had better bring a big group otherwise your chances of getting a table is slim. There are like 50 workers simultaneously cooking and filling orders in a small run down kitchen which is visible to the public and their choices for beverages could use a bit more work considering they only offer a few select sodas, water and bengali traditional drinks like mango lassi or pan water. Come by feet or train because you won’t find any parking in this area. Finally I suggest getting the “naan kabab combo" or the “kabab roll as they call it” because its the best item for its value.
