The best Thai restaurant in Jackson Heights: polite staff, the food is tasty and the atmosphere is decorated and pleasant to be in. I felt very comfortable being there. The jasmine rice with shrimp, chicken soup and pineapple juice were perfect. I was very happy to eat such good food and be treated so well. Kitchen 79 has a team of excellent professionals, from reception, to the chef, to the waitress. Thank you very much :)

I’ve been a loyal customer for close to 10 years now.
However it’s not affordable to order from here anymore.
Lunch special total out to $17 for food + $7 drink = $24 for one person
Dinner is $32+ for one person

They won’t change their $1 fee for half filled-0.5 oz container of dipping sauce / please fill it all the way ?

A very comfortably furnished restaurant. We ordered a Pad Thai and were very happy with our meal! Delicious.

I recently dined here with a friend. I had the Pad Thai fried rice which was okay but there wasn't much flavor. My friend had noodles with tofu which was good. The waitress never greeted us or asked if everything was okay after we received our meals.I paid in cash and the girl was more interested i n how much of a tip I left. I gave 20% but would have given more if there was better service. Also it was hardly anyone there. Just another customer. I hope customer service improves. I have eaten here many times and food is usually quite tasty.

I tried their duck dish, something I rarely order when I go out for dinner, but this was so delicious. Melts in your mouth and packed with flavor! My partner got the steak and the dish was wiped clean. Definitely recommend for a lowkey and quieter date. The environment was great and tucked away from the main ave.

I mean… the food is good but $15 for a curry or pad thai? Those are Manhattan prices! Not worth it. I used to order food from here all the time but now I just make new Thai dishes at home because it’s so much cheaper.

I've been to Kitchen 79 several times, and it's consistently good. Their lunch specials are a great deal, with a tasty appetizer and entree at a fair price. My favorites are the Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice, both with really nice flavors. The interior is modern and pleasant, making it a good spot for a meal. Overall, it's a reliable place for a satisfying lunch or dinner.

High recommend you visit this Thia Resturant. It isn't a big place, it holds up to about 30 people. It's small but big in flavor and portion size. Everything our table had was fresh, fresh, fresh. Vibrant Thia flavor. Crab fried rice had crab meat you could see. The chunks of crab were so tasty that you could taste the salt water it came out of. The noodle dishes with seafood so delicious. Deserts, yum. Try the fried ice cream. Warm coconut custard was very good. I can keep going on, but instead, get yourself over to this place so that you can experience the magic for yourself.

Parking: This is a lot nearby and plenty metered parking, but usually taken. This is a busy area with many shops. The 7 train and busses are on the avenue.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to enter.

The food just isn’t special at all. Maybe in a different part of town it would be an alright restaurant, but based on the quality of the other nearby Thai restaurants it’s extremely disappointing. The sticky rice came still wrapped in plastic and the salad was just lettuce and some sorta creamy dressing w no flavor.

We had Thai fried rice and Pad Tai. Our favourite one was the fried rice, but they both had an amazing flavour. The staff was very friendly and the place feels like a piece of peace
