Ate here for the first time with a friend. As we walked in the first thing I noticed was the music was way too loud. There was a birthday celebration. After the party left the music continued loudly. We both had the tortilla soup. It would have been perfect if it didn’t taste like cumin. I ordered tacos al pastor and it also would have been better without the marinaded pork, too spicy. Service was terrible. We sat for awhile after we ate to get the attention of the waitresses as they were having a conversation with one another. We shared an apple pie for dessert and the crust was way to doughy.it tasted as though the dough wasn’t cooked thoroughly. It was too expensive for the quality of food and service.

Laly’s is one of the best restaurants in Jackson Heights! My husband and I order delivery from here regularly and we dine in every once in awhile. The operation here is impressive! Delivery is always on time or early, and we never have to wait more than 10 minutes for a table. The food comes out quickly and is super fresh! During pride, the restaurant paired down the menu because they knew they would have a lot of people, and the service was still excellent and the food came out quickly. The service here is always great!
The food here is also reasonably priced and SO good! Don’t sleep on the salads here. I know you might be thinking, “why the heck would I get a salad at this restaurant?”. You should definitely order the shrimp taco salad or the kale salad. Both are excellent if you’re feeling like something light. The fish tacos are excellent and we love the veggie quesadilla. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We try something new every once in awhile, and are always happy with the food.
This place is a neighborhood gem ?
Vegetarian options: Veggie Quesadilla is so good. I prefer it to the quesadillas with meat or shrimp!!

Great food and the cocktails are amazing. The tostones appetizer is some of the best I've ever had. My girlfriend loves the shrimp taco salad and the esquite. The chorizo Mac and cheese is to kill for and the Laly's burger is flavorful.
DEFINITELY come on Wednesday for Wing night. Those wings are INCREDIBLE

Nice visit with clients to have a pre closing celebratory drink and dinner. Seating in a booth was a bit cramped but when the guests behind me left, our server helped move my side back, to give more space. Music was at a perfect level for ambiance and allow conversation.
Food was tasty and price was good for the portions. Drinks are very good. My frozen margarita (I opted for no salt and no tajin) was perfect! I think I’ll be back for another one soon. Chicken quesadilla was a generous portion with a small side of guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo. On an incredibly hot summer night, the temperature inside was just right… not to cold and not warm. Definitely a spot to check out when visiting near the main train hub or off the LaGuardia express bus.
I also appreciate not being charged an automatic gratuity as many restaurants are starting to do.
Parking: There’s only street parking. Depends on time of day, but shouldn’t be too bad. Meters on the avenue and on the side street but free parking just about 1 block away on either side of Roosevelt Ave
Wheelchair accessibility: Street level entrance, abundant table seating with removable chairs. Separate booths on the other side. Bathroom is on the same level, single occupancy. I didn’t measure the bathroom doorway, so maybe call ahead if wheelchair bound.

This place is a hidden gem ?. I went today for brunch and everything was amazing. The service was the best I've had in a while and everyone was super nice. I knew the food was going to be good when I saw other Spanish people in there. I will definitely be back. The breakfast enchiladas was awesome and they didn't skimp on the shrimp.
