If you are a fan of momos, then this is the place for it. Momos freshly made and delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and represented Nepal.
But the staff could have been more attentive and friendlier.

This dump is an absolute disaster. The chowmein was a soggy, flavorless catastrophe, and the thukpa was an insult to Nepali cuisine - a watery, rubbery abomination with timur slapped on like an afterthought. The momo, supposedly the star of the show, was a bland, timur-dominated disappointment. The goat thali was a pathetic attempt at a decent meal, with a laughable portion size. The entire menu is a joke, with limited options for vegetarians and none for those with dietary restrictions. And don't even get me started on the bathroom situation - one overcrowded, gender-neutral toilet for the whole restaurant? It's a nightmare. Avoid this place like the plague.

Terrible experience overall. The chowmein was soggy, flavorless, and nothing like real chowmein should be. The thukpa was basically a thick bowl of hot water with rubbery noodles and timur dumped in—completely bland and missing all the proper ingredients. The momo, which is supposed to be their specialty, was awful too. Both the steamed and soup momo tasted exactly the same: just timur and no real flavor. Even the chicken chowmein was just as soggy and bland.
The goat thali was the only thing that came close to decent, but even that had very little food on the plate. The goat curry itself was tasty, but the portion size was way too small to make up for everything else.
Between the bad food and small portions, this place is not worth the hype at all.

I really wanted to like this place, but the food and overall experience were a disappointment. The chowmein was soggy and lacked any real flavor—nothing like the fried, flavorful dish it should be. The thukpa looked bland, and it tasted the same. Other than the timur, there was nothing good about it. The vegetables didn’t fit the dish, and the usual ingredients (chana, matar, aloo) were missing. What we got was basically a thick, watery bowl with rubbery noodles and timur.
The momo, which the restaurant is supposed to be known for, was also a letdown. Both the steamed and soup veg momo had no flavor other than timur. Timur is a common Nepali spice, but it shouldn’t dominate every single dish. The chicken momo might be their strong point, but for vegetarians, there isn’t much worth ordering. Even the chicken chowmein was just as soggy and bland.
On top of that, the portions were small for the price, and the bathroom situation was inconvenient—only one gender-neutral bathroom for the entire restaurant, which meant there was a long line the whole time.
The only positives were the sel roti, the timur garlic paste, and the aloo matar with puri—those were actually good. But overall, the food, portions, and setup didn’t make the visit worth it, and I won’t be coming back.

Lots of good food for very reasonable prices. Right off the 7 line so great for a pre or post game dinner. Momo's were great. They gave us tons of sauces too. Overall a great experience, and I look forward to returning.

Slow service because it's always busy!! Must try all their momo. Jhol Momo was my favorite, both chicken and goat. Perfect blend of spiced soup with the savory deliciousness of the momo. Think of it as a spicy soup dumpling. Their veg thupa was warm and delicious for a cold winter night, would recommend getting it with egg.
Fried rice and noodles weren't great - wouldn't recommend.
All their Thali's looked amazing as well!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food at very affordable prices for vegetarians, especially the veggie momos in soup (veggie and paneer momo jhola).

There’s an annual Momo Crawl in Jackson Heights that celebrates the Tibetan and Nepalese dumpling, called “the momo,” and this spot has been the winner of the event 5 times! Nepali Bhanchha Ghar is famous for their jhol momo, which comes in either beef or chicken filling. Jhol momo consists of dumplings immersed in a spicy and aromatic sesame and tomato broth. They’re juicy, flavorful, and warm - $9 for a platter of 8 momo. The skin on the momo are on the thinner side and there's a lot of filling. I love my momo saucy and this one is very sauced up. If you’re looking for a true taste of Nepal and some of the best momo in Queens, Nepali Bhanchha Ghar is highly recommended.

The pricing here is very low and convenient, which is great for budget-friendly meals. However, the food itself is just okay. It lacks the bold flavors and authenticity that satisfy cravings for true Nepali cuisine. I also noticed the food was quite low in salt, which made the overall taste a bit bland. If you’re looking for affordability, it’s a decent option, but don’t expect a memorable Nepali dining experience.
I came to try the Jhol Momo which is dumplings in a thick, very flavorful soup broth. I got the goat meat variety and it was very tasty! I also ordered the milk tea and tried the butter tea. The butter tea was very salty and I learned it is Yak Milk. Interesting!! Very affordable prices here. I am glad I came and would definitely come again!!
