Slow service because it's always busy!! Must try all their momo. Jhol Momo was my favorite, both chicken and goat. Perfect blend of spiced soup with the savory deliciousness of the momo. Think of it as a spicy soup dumpling. Their veg thupa was warm and delicious for a cold winter night, would recommend getting it with egg.
Fried rice and noodles weren't great - wouldn't recommend.
All their Thali's looked amazing as well!
There’s an annual Momo Crawl in Jackson Heights that celebrates the Tibetan and Nepalese dumpling, called “the momo,” and this spot has been the winner of the event 5 times! Nepali Bhanchha Ghar is famous for their jhol momo, which comes in either beef or chicken filling. Jhol momo consists of dumplings immersed in a spicy and aromatic sesame and tomato broth. The pricing here is very low and convenient, which is great for budget-friendly meals. However, the food itself is just okay. It lacks the bold flavors and authenticity that satisfy cravings for true Nepali cuisine. I also noticed the food was quite low in salt, which made the overall taste a bit bland. If you’re looking for affordability, it’s a decent option, but don’t expect a memorable Nepali dining experience.
