I visited the Potala Fresh Food truck. These are my favorite momo in the city! The momo are so fresh and juicy you have to lean over the container or plate when you eat them, it’s that juicy! I typically get the beef but they have chicken and other varieties as well. I love that you can also order them frozen if you need a large amount for a home event.

I’ve been coming here for years. I’ve tried their chicken momos, vegetable and beef. They’re all amazing. My favorite is beef. Always go for steamed momo’s. The radish on the side is always fresh. Plus the broth is a nice addition when you finish your food. The employees that work here are very nice. For the price you can’t beat that either. I’m a forever customer !

Beef momo was very good but cold. We were handed our food immediately which tells me they came right out of a cooler to the plate.

Looked forward to this but the lady spent 10 minutes not coming to the window. The customer ahead of me asked her a question for me to order but she seemed uninterested in helping me order and turned around so i left.
How does a food truck that was not busy turn away from a customer and basically ignore me?

Not good momos. They are stuck togather and broken, which i ate first. And the momos are dry on the outside. And they are mixed with vegetable which i don't like. i ordered chicken not chicken with veg, veg has a whole other section of momos. I got the just chicken momo by the way. I asked her to change the first top broken piece of the momo, but she doesn't understand even basic English. English is my third language, so there is no excuse. But i guess, i don't mind that much, but its the little things where it counts.
Also, while eating the food, i kept feeling something off about the food on the first bite. The momos were old left overs. How i figured out? I keet dismissing my intuition while munching and eating from 1st to 4th momo. At that point i just gave up and threw out my food.They were bad. The food went bad because of the hot weather. I didn't complain , argue or say anything to that lady. I am not that kind of person. Even i say anything, she will not underground anything and might even say u ate 4 momos, now you think this is bad? So i gave up. And this is not the first time, I've tried it here. Potala is everything a New York city food truck should be. Good food, served by nice people, quick and inexpensive. The beef momo were excellent, with good chili sauce. Will definitely visit them again.

Worst momo , I bought chicken momo and they had a bad smell I had a bite and chicken was gone bad, idk how old they were we threw them. Waste of money, rather go to Lhasa, Phayul or Omwok for the best momo in Jackson

Amazing momos, I love the beef momos steamed personally. I find it best to steam them myself because then its steam just the right amount. If you do buy steamed momos of the truck you will likely not have to wait however, its very fast! Been going here for years and steamed over 600-800 momos so far!
