A nice chill environment with a pool table and a good jukebox to play whatever genre of music you like, the bartender was absolutely amazing and really friendly. Definitely wouldn’t mind going back with some more friends.

A great, cozy neighborhood bar. No frills, no food but they let you take in outside food and there's no shortage of options nearby. Usually a mix of folks of varied ages. I've gone in several times over the years and there are always nice staff working behind the bar. A handy spot to stop in for a pint when you get off the train at Roosevelt Ave and nature calls 😂

I frequent this establishment with great regularity due to my strong appreciation for its offerings. The bartenders generally exhibit a high level of professionalism and courtesy; however, I have encountered instances where the bartender on Sundays has displayed rude behavior.

Was in there a couple of minutes ago, the whole neighborhood has this election watch party going on, and i jokingly mentioned Donald Trump and the bartender for the evening goes berserk “ there’s absolutely no politics talk going on tonight” “ i will not accept it and if you want you can leave” and all i said was i am voting for the color of my shirt which is red. Im drinking and cognisant but this woman bartender for the evening i dont know if she has personal issues going on but that bad attitude and manners during an election night when I go there and spend $200 + dollars no thanks.
In an area where there are beautiful, young latina bartenders with exceptional customer service here at the Penny Inn the bartender for the evening falls on the opposite end of the spectrum.
