went to eat here and a server had an attitude for no reason and also 20% of gratuity included in the bill is wild, no wonder they dont care to be nice.

This was my first time in this restaurant can't complain about the food it was delicious, the service, bad experience the server came to us with an attitude they came to our table, every minute taking away the plates even do we weren't finishing rushing us,and the place was practically empty we were going to get dessert but after the way they were acting we decided to leave, they add 20%tip on our check, I feel like they didn't deserve it that's why they don't care about the service they giving to the customers they know that no matter what they getting their tip.

Disappointing Experience for a Special Occasion
We recently visited this restaurant to celebrate my Mom’s birthday, but unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely ignored. We had to ask who our server was, which set the tone for the rest of the meal. Our server had an attitude that was less than friendly—he seemed to hate his job and lacked basic courtesy.
To make things worse, we couldn’t even enjoy a private meal. All the waiters kept taking our plates away as soon as we finished, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. It felt intrusive and rude, as if they were rushing us out the door.
By the time we finished our food, we were so put off that we didn’t even bother with dessert or continue the celebration. What’s worse is that they automatically included a 20% tip on the bill—perhaps that’s why the service was so poor, since they were guaranteed a tip no matter what.
We definitely won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. A truly disappointing experience, especially on a special day like a birthday.

Bad service from beginning, door was locked at 2pm, food was very basic and had nothing special
Expected more from this place, unfortunately won’t be coming back.

Honestly, the opinion of a starter, the food was horrible, I ordered a rice with seafood and that was rice with horrible seafood water, the anticucho that looked like coal and still the attention, arrogant thieves and mercenaries, the worst service in my life

I hadn't been there in a while. Came with a group of people, and I was shocked on how things have changed. No substitutions on the side order to your meal. Made no sense. Charged for a spice sauce for a to go container. Didn't even give the roasted corn like they used to. The food in general was ok but I would rather spend my money somewhere else. Prices were higher than I remembered

Once upon a time this restaurant was considered one of the best in terms of Peruvian Cuisine. I’d been coming to this restaurant since it first opened. Post-pandemic they changed their policy to “no-changes” to meals and shrunk their menu. I recently ordered a Bistek Apanado only to be told that I couldn’t have it with white rice and could only eat it with Tallarines Verde. They insisted that they needed to adhere to their policy, no budging. What true Peruvian eats without white rice?? Needless to say, their tallarines verdes are less to be desired.
This is quite disappointing as my family and I have been customers for so many years and recommended to many friends. I understand streamlining the menu but to not be flexible to include sides that are part of our culture is too rigid and a turn off to a loyal patron. It is not the waiting staff’s fault, I agree, but management should really reevaluate this policy. For now, not going back!

The food is awesome, as always, but the servers need improvement. We asked for the bill twice, and they kept us waiting. Then they overcharged us in error, but we're the bad guys. They still got their 18% tip. In the restaurant business, taking your customers for granted is a recipe for disaster.

I have always ordered food from this restaurant and I have generally liked it, but today I ordered a mixed chaufa rice to take away but they added too much salt which prevented me from eating it, I called the restaurant and the lady who answered me told her what happened with the rice And that my intention was not to change it because I was at my house and it is far from the restaurant, but the lady only limited herself to saying well and simply did not pay attention to my complaint because if one pays for a service and does not It's fine at least the restaurant apologizes and says it's going to call the cook's attention, but that doesn't happen.
