Very delicious food and quick and friendly service. I got the Jollof rice, fish, vegetables and vegetables plantain. Cannot wait to come back and try more meals

The lady who works here is disrespectful and doesn't respect people's time. I called hours earlier to ensure the restaurant would have jollof rice and let her know I would be in later. She told me to come out 5:30pm and when I arrived the place was closed. What a sick joke!

Love the food at Aso Rock! I normally get the Jollof and fish and it never disappoints. I tried the fufu and veggies today and loved it! The customers sitting next to me raved about the boneless goat head with white rice which I will try next time. The owner appreciated that I knew much about the culture and food since I am not African. The other customers also appreciated my knowledge of the culture and treated me to a free plum wine which I also enjoyed. I normally have a good experience here and will definitely return!!!!

I attempted to walk in and try their food and there was a staff outside , when my girlfriend asked "hey do you work here?" She responded with the question "why?" "Why are you asking" idk if that's their way of running their customer service but I'll tell you one thing by the way she responding I will never trust to eat or give my money there , from checking the other views it looks like their only friendly to other Africans and not Americans like my self . I'll be okay there's tons of other restaurants

Ok Im visiting NY from Georgia I wanted some authentic African food. I googled African food and first one popped up. So I figured I would give it a try and when I tell you this is the best that would be an understatement. Everyone was so pleasant. What I loved the most is when I said I did not need a bag the lady nope you will not walk out with my food, I felt so happy to hear that all that means is presentation is everything, she takes pride in her food. So now Im home trying to figure out do I need to go back her more for a late night meal.I pray nothing but blessings over this place. #Iwillbeback ❤️Parking: Street parking is goodWheelchair accessibility: Yes
If there was an option to give zero stars that would be my choice. The girls working there attitude is very nasty. Worse African Restaurant in the whole of New York.

I went into Aso Rock not knowing a thing about African Cuisine. Little did I know, that I would fall in love with it shortly after! I didn't catch the woman's name, but I'm sure she was the manager of the restaurant working up in the front.. she was amazing! Not only did she explain each dish, but she even allowed me to try different dishes She really made it such a great experience trying African Cuisine, I'll definitely be back for more!!
